Guoguang Township
Guoguang Township, located in the southwest of Jiange County, is 60 kilometers away from the old town Pu'an. Sword (Pavilion) and salt (Pavilion) pass by. Guangxiang was founded in 1952 and merged into Kaifeng Township in 1955. In 1961, Tumen commune was set up from Kaifeng township. In 1981, it was renamed Guoguang commune. In 1984, the government and commune were set up separately and Guoguang township was restored. In 1992, the township was withdrawn and merged into Kaifeng town. In 1995, Guoguang township was separated and restored. Guoguang township is a pure agricultural township. It is one of the grain producing areas in Jiange. It produces rice, corn, wheat, oil crops and a variety of economic crops. There are county-level cultural relics protection units in Jiange. Baihe temple was built in Ming Dynasty and Huilong Temple was built in early Qing Dynasty.
General situation
Guoguang Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Jiange County, is located in the southwest of the county, adjacent to Kaifeng town in the north, Wanghe town in the south, Wanquan Township in the East and Yingshui Township in the southwest. Guoguang township is a pure agricultural township. It is one of the grain production areas in Jiange. It produces rice, corn, wheat, oil crops and a variety of economic crops (ginger, sea pepper, tomato, apple, pear and other fruits). In 2009, actively promote the process of agricultural industrialization, vigorously adjust the internal structure of agriculture, the proportion of grain to economy has reached 6:4, and the per capita net income of farmers is 2304 yuan. There are four private enterprises in Guoguang township. The "Xiangmi" produced by Chunsheng milled rice processing plant is exported to Mianyang; the brick produced by Baoguo brick factory and Fuyu cement brick factory is in short supply. Yang Qinghu invested more than 600000 yuan to build a gravel plant, which effectively promoted the post disaster reconstruction.

The traffic in Guoguang township is very convenient, with highways extending in all directions, Jianyan highway and Yu Road crossing.
