Xituo town
Xituo Town, belonging to Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County of Chongqing, is located in the northwest of Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County. It is adjacent to Fangdoushan in the East, Wangchang town in the south, Lichang Township in the West and Changping township of Wanzhou District in the north. It is 83km away from Shizhu Tujia Autonomous County Government, with a total area of 61.01 square kilometers.
In the early Ming Dynasty, Xituo town was located in shiquli Shijia; in June 1962, ZTE commune established Xituo town. By the end of 2018, the population of the West Tuo Town registered residence was 31116. As of June 2020, Xituo town has 5 communities and 6 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located at No. 7, South platform road.

History of construction
In the early Ming Dynasty, after withdrawing Nanbin County, Xituo town was located in shiquli Shijia.
At the end of Qing Dynasty, Xituo regiment was set up.
In 1930, Xituo town was established. In 1940, Xituo town was changed into Xituo township.
In September 1952, Xituo township was removed and Xituo town was established.
In September 1958, Xituo town was merged into Zhongxing Township and changed into Zhongxing commune.
In June 1962, Xituo town was restored.
In November 1983, Zhongxing commune was changed into Zhongxing township; in December of the same year, Zhongxing township was merged into Xituo town.
In October 1995, Xituo town was established as Central Township.
In July 2001, Zhongxing township was merged into Xituo town.
