Hongxing Road Street, belonging to Lianchi District, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Lianchi District, east to Hongqi Street, South to the north of Tianwei East Road, West to lounan street, dacige line, north to Dongguan Street. In 1973, Red Star Street was set up. In September 2001, the 16 neighborhood committees were merged into five neighborhood committees: Hongxing, Hongqi, Sizhong, dacige and mosques street. In August 2006, Dongsheng neighborhood committee was added. As of October 2019, Hongxing street has jurisdiction over 6 community neighborhood committees.

In 1973, Red Star Street was set up.

In November 1987, the office was located at No. 41, deputy Hongxing Road, with 15 neighborhood committees under its jurisdiction.

In June 1993, a neighborhood committee of Hongxing West 2nd Street was set up.

In February 1994, a dormitory neighborhood committee of a foreign trade printing factory was set up.

In January 1996, Hongbei neighborhood committee was set up.

In January 1999, the four neighborhood committees of Weisheng Road East Street, Weisheng road middle street, Weisheng Road West Street and Hongbei street were assigned to Beishi District.

History and culture

Name and origin

Hongxing street was named after Hongxing Road, which was originally owned by Dao. Now Hongxing Road is renamed Yuhua East Road.

Historic sites

Dacige, built in 1227, is located in the north of Yuhua Road, Baoding city. Dacige, known as "City Pavilion in the sky", has become the symbol of the ancient city of Baoding. Dacige, a group of temple buildings, has been a holy land of Buddhism since ancient times. Its main building is named dacige.

Daci Pavilion faces south, with a single eaves on the top of the mountain gate. The lintel reads "Zhenjue temple". A pair of stone lions in front of the gate are separated from each other. Through the mountain gate, the bell tower in the East and the drum tower in the West. Facing is a tall stone foundation, 5.4 meters high, 22 stone steps, 17.54 meters wide, 12.24 meters deep, Zhou Zuo Wang Zhu, jade railings. The main building, the Daci Pavilion, stands on top of it, with three storeys of double eaves. The bottom layer is 5 wide and 2 deep. There is a statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva in the pavilion, which is magnificent and solemn. It has 42 arms, respectively, holding a clear bottle, a sword, a Zen staff, a mirror, a brush and other magic weapons. The murals on both sides of the East and the West are portraits of the eighteen Arhats and the stories of the changes. There are stairs in the pavilion, which can lead to the second or third floor. On May 25, 2006, dacige was announced by the State Council of the people's Republic of China as the Sixth Batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
