Laisu town, subordinate to Yongchuan District of Chongqing City, is located in the southwest of Yongchuan District. It is adjacent to Nandajie street in the East, Ji'an town in the south, Baofeng town in the West and Luxian County in Sichuan Province, and Qingfeng town in the north. It is 18 kilometers away from the residence of Yongchuan District People's government, with a total area of 93.21 square kilometers.
In the Song Dynasty, Laisu town began to be built around Laisu town; in May 1985, Laisu township was changed into Laisu town. By the end of 2018, the population of Lai Su town registered residence was 54920. As of June 2020, Laisu town has one community and 13 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in Laisu town.

History of construction
In Song Dynasty, Laisu town began to build Laisu farm.
In 1933, it was the hometown of Laisu.
In 1958, Laisu township was transformed into Laisu commune,
In 1983, it was changed from Su commune to Lai Su township.
In May 1985, it was changed from Suxiang to Laisu town.
In November 2003, Wangping town was merged into Laisu town.

The town people's government is stationed in Laisu town.

The landform of Wangping area in the southwest of Laisu town is platform shallow hills with an average altitude of about 400 meters. The average altitude of Laisu and Laiyi areas is about 330 meters, which are all over the hills, mainly shallow hills.

The largest river in Laisu town is Laisu River, which originates from Huajia temple in Baofeng town, flows downstream to Guanmenshan reservoir, and then flows to Guanmenshan reservoir through Guanmenshan, Tayuan, guanyinjing, dressing table and shuimotan Nandajie street is 18.0km long with an average annual flow of 68.0m3/s.
