Ciyun town
Ciyun Town, subordinate to Jiangjin District of Chongqing, is located in the middle of Jiangjin District, adjacent to Lishi town in the East, Yongxing Town in the south, Baisha Town and Longhua Town in the west, Xianfeng town in the north, 36 kilometers away from the people's Government of Jiangjin District, with a total area of 51.63 square kilometers.
In the early Qing Dynasty, Ciyun town belonged to zhuxili, Jiangjin County; in December 1993, it was changed from Ciyun township to Ciyun town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 29477. As of June 2020, Ciyun town has two communities and four administrative villages, and the people's Government of Ciyun town is located in zhazikou street, ciyinsi community.
In 2018, there were 47 industrial enterprises and 9 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Ciyun town.
History of construction
In the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to zhuxili, Jiangjin County; in 1694, it belonged to Badu; in 1910, it belonged to the third regiment of Bazheng township.
In 1921, it belonged to eight districts and three regiments. In 1935, the Baojia system was implemented, which belonged to the three districts of Ciyun joint protection. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), the joint insurance system was abolished, belonging to Luoba Township, three districts. In April 1941, Ciyun township was established from Luoba township.
In the spring of 1961, Ciyun township was changed into Ciyun commune.
In March 1984, it was changed from Ciyun commune to Ciyun township.
In December 1993, it was changed from Ciyun township to Ciyun town.
In March 2001, Diao's hometown was merged into Ciyun town.
