General situation of Liujing town
"National pilot town of small town construction"
——The transportation is very convenient and the location is prominent. In 1995, the town was designated as the "national pilot town for small town construction" by the Ministry of construction of the people's Republic of China, and has been an advanced unit for the construction of villages and towns in the autonomous region for more than ten years. The town is about 18 kilometers away from Baoxu Town, Huazhou City, Guangdong Province in the East, 40 kilometers away from Luchuan County, Yulin City in the west, 50 kilometers away from Gaozhou City in the South and 60 kilometers away from Beiliu City in the north. It is the gateway of Southeast Guangxi to Guangdong, and the economic, cultural and transportation center in the south of Beiliu City. Its economic strength ranks in the forefront of towns in Beiliu City, known as the South Gate of Beiliu City. At the same time, Liujing town is also the hometown of the world's Bronze Drum King. Liujing has jurisdiction over 15 villagers' committees, one residents' committee and one agricultural team of Guifeng farm in Liujing, Xiebao, Wangpo, Napai, Senlong, shuichong, Xishan, Dapo, Yunluo, Chashan, Changjiang, Longwan, Shizhai, Shachong and Zhennan, with a total of 344 villagers' groups. Liujing is a typical transportation hub town! The town is not only the first to realize the "village to village" cement hardening highway project in Beiliu, but also the new and old Beibao secondary highway passing through the whole town. In 2010, the newly built pubao second-class highway also passed through the town. at the end of December 2009, the newly revised "Guangxi expressway network planning revision" table of Guangxi will add Beiliu (Baowei) to Qinzhou (Lingshan) Expressway, which will also pass through Liujing. At that time, Liujing will become a distinct transportation hub! in 2010, he won the title of "top ten villages and towns" in scientific development of Linyu city and the excellent award of the seventh Nanzhu cup competition of the whole region. Chang Jiang village was the seat of luobian county from the second year of Qianfeng in Tang Dynasty (667) to the fifth year of Kaibao in Song Dynasty (972). In the Qing Dynasty, Liujing was under the jurisdiction of Bian Erli (except Dapo village and shuichong Village). It was under the jurisdiction of luobian district from 1932 to 1949. Cultural Relic
World bronze drum king
The bronze drum, now known as "the king of the world's bronze drum", was unearthed in shuichong nunnery, Liujing, Beiliu. The surface of the bronze drum is 165 cm in diameter, 67.5 cm in height, and the residual weight is more than 300 kg. There are 8 awns of sun pattern in the center of drum surface, 4 halos outside awn, wide and sparse, and 14 halos in drum body, narrow and dense. This bronze drum was unearthed in shuichong nunnery, Liujing Town, Beiliu City, Guangxi Province in 1950. After the first National Symposium on bronze drums in 1980 and the Third Symposium on ancient bronze drums and bronze culture in South China and Southeast Asia in 1996, it was determined that among the bronze drums unearthed all over the world, the bronze drum at shuichong'an in Liujing, Liujing, is the "king of bronze drums in the world". Now in Guangxi Museum. The excavation of the bronze drum king has a legendary experience. In the Qing Dynasty, there was a farmer in Shike Township, Beiliu. He went up to the mountain to cut firewood and grass. He put the pole upright and tried his best to poke it to the ground. But when he heard the strange sound in the soil, the pole couldn't go on. As a result, a huge bronze drum suddenly appeared. The villagers thought it was an artifact, so they planned to carry it to the nearby Xiantai temple in liujingwei. Who would have expected that when they arrived at shuichong nunnery, the rope suddenly broke. What a wonder! At last, he decided to stay in shuichong nunnery because the villagers who carried the bronze drum made a small plan to keep the bronze drum in their own village. So every winter, villagers all over the country hold a drum festival in shuichong nunnery to pray for the gods. They beat the bronze drums, and the mountains sing and the valleys sing. The villagers gather in all directions to worship the gods. This "king of bronze drum" was exhibited in Guangxi Museum in 2010, and twice went to Beijing for exhibition. The audience was astonished, which won the reputation of Guangxi and made Beiliu people proud!
Transportation advantages
Liujing is a typical transportation hub town! Before 2006, only two of the 17 village committees in the town had not been opened, except for the cement road, the rest of the village committees were all opened. By 2010, the town has taken the lead in implementing the "village to village" highway hardening project in Beiliu, and all 17 village committees have cement hardened village roads. Not only the new and old Beibao second-class highway (Beiliu Baowei) passes through the whole town, but also the new pubao second-class highway (Pubei Baowei) passes through the whole town. Three second-class highways form a distinct traffic fork in the town. Qinzhou Baowei expressway has a total length of 251 km (including repeated mileage of 32 km). The route starts from Baowei town at the junction of Beiliu City and Huazhou City, Guangdong Province, and connects with the planned Yangjiang Gaozhou Expressway in Guangdong Province. The routes to the West are as follows:
Baowei Town, Huazhou, Guangdong - Qingwan Town, Beiliu - Liujing Town, Shiwo Town, Luchuan - Bobai - Pubei - Lingshan - Qinzhou
It ends at Qinzhou section of Guihai expressway. At that time, the expressway will pass through Liujing, which will form a distinctive transportation hub! Because of the well-developed transportation and relatively perfect urban construction, Liujing was designated as the "national pilot town for small town construction" by the Ministry of construction in 1995. The industrial concentration area in the south of Beiliu is located here.
