Datan Township

Datan township is located in Qimen County, with an area of 92.63 square kilometers, accounting for 4.19% of the total land area of the county. The township governs 6 villages, 30 groups, 1235 households and 4271 people, including 4141 agricultural population and 2718 rural labor force. The township is high in the north and low in the south, with the highest peak of 1090 meters. The water system is Dahong River, which originates from the south foot of dahongling and is the source of Changjiang River. There are 40000 mu of Yangtze River protection forest, ecological forest and public welfare forest planned for forestry production, and 3600 mu of forest has been converted from farmland in the past two years, with abundant wood and bamboo resources. Anfu Bridge Pavilion

Anfu Bridge pavilion is located at the side of the road at the head of datan village, datan Township, Qimen County. It is made of single hole and bluestone. The bridge is 27.5m long, 6.3m wide, 6m high and 9m long. There is a Gallery Pavilion on the bridge and a two-story Pavilion on the West, Qingshi inscribed with "Dongwei Lanxiu" and "Xili Zhaohua", the pavilion is equipped with a round ticket door and a few holes of assorted flower windows (in the shape of gourd, rhombus, hexagon, etc.), with beautiful shape. Natural environment: the bridge is located in the north of datan County, bordering Yi County in the northeast, Baixi Township in the southeast, Xuling Township in the southwest, Guxi Township in the West and Leihu Township in the northwest. The northern part of the territory is mountainous, and the central and southern parts are hilly areas, with high terrain in the north and low terrain in the south. Dahongling

The original name of dahongling is dagongshan, which was renamed as torrential flood. Located in the northwest of the rural area, it used to be the boundary between Qimen and Shidai, with an altitude of 789 meters. Up and down 20 miles long, 90% off a hundred steps, close to mountains and rivers, cliffs, very dangerous. During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty (1573-1619), Zheng's widow donated money to build the buildings. After more than 200 years, most of them collapsed. In 1823, the gentry of Qi and Yi counties urged them to donate money for reconstruction. It took six years and cost 60000 gold. They dug up mountains and cut stones. They made the road straight and saved the danger. They paved the road with stones, which was more than 50 miles wide. Stone railings and three stone bridges were built near the cliff, which turned the dangerous road into a smooth road and became the main channel leading to Anqing, the provincial capital of Huizhou. Lingtou Old Road Pavilion, pavilion column couplets: "spring comes back from the earth, flying skillfully from the sound of birds; Hongshan towering show, wanlongxiang set like hearing thunder.". Dahongling has always been an important place for military strategists because of its dangerous terrain. In the Yuan Dynasty, there was a Dagong town at the foot of the mountain, which was the place of control. During the same period of the Qing and Xian dynasties, the Taiping Army crossed the river with the Qing army many times, and then rushed to the north foot of Dahong.
