Shijiachong Street

The administrative area of shijiachong sub district office is: shijiachong, rongchangping, yingzhuang, tongyouping four communities and Shuguang, Lixi, Chennong, Qinfeng, Zhaiyang five villages. The newly established shijiachong sub district area covers an area of 52.57 square kilometers, with a permanent resident population of about 43000.

Historical evolution

In 1996, Jishou City governed shijiachong street, hongqimen street, Donghe street, Qianzhou street, majianao Town, Hexi Town, Aizhai Town, Jiliu Township, Wanrongjiang Township, Taiping Township, Danqing Township, Shuangtang Township, Baiyan Township, Jishou Township, Shetangpo Township, Paihou Township, paixian Township and Zhaiyang township. In 2005, Jishou City abolished Jishou township; three villages in Jishou Township were included in shijiachong street, two in hongqimen street, and the remaining 16 in Donghe street; Wanrongjiang Township and Qianzhou street were incorporated into Qianzhou street. in 2006, shijiachong street and hongqimen Street formed an organic system and merged to establish Zhenxi street. in 2017, shijiachong street was newly established. The administrative area includes shijiachong, rongchangping, yingzhuang and tongyouping communities and Shuguang, Lixi, Chennong, Qinfeng and Zhaiyang villages.
