Tunken town
Tunken Town, belonging to Kangbao County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Kangbao County, bordering Taipusi Banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in the East and zhaoyanghe Town, Kangbao pasture and donkey breeding farm of Animal Husbandry Bureau of Kangbao County in the north. It is 15 kilometers away from the people's government of Kangbao County, with a total area of 411.57 square kilometers.
In 1953, there was Tunken Township in Tunken town; in 1984, it was changed from Tunken commune to Tunken town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in tun Ken town was 23835. As of June 2020, Tunken town has 24 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in Tunken villages.
In 2018, Tunken town has two industrial enterprises, including two above scale enterprises and six comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

In 1953, Tunken township was set up.
In 1958, Tunken township was changed into Tunken commune.
