In 1945, it belonged to poli District of zangma county. In 1947, poli district was set up as southern Tibet District. In 1956, zangma county was merged into poli District of Jiaonan county. In 1958, it belonged to poli commune. In 1961, it was set up as southern Tibet commune. In 1984, it was changed to Henghe township. In 1987, it was renamed as southern Tibet township. In 1993, it was established as a town. In 1997, with an area of 90 square kilometers and a population of 31000, it has jurisdiction over henghechuan, Gaogezhuang, yaxia, Yashang, southwest, changqiangou, hejigou, zengjiaguanzhuang, dingjiaguanzhuang, wangjiaguanzhuang, dingjiasongyuan, zangjia village, hujiazhuang, xiadingjiawa, dingjiazaohu, Heya village, fanjiawa, panjiazhuang, Liujiazhuang, mowang, damajiatuan, Sunjiatun, lingxitou and lingnantou There are 37 administrative villages including daliujiazhuang, miaojiazhuang, Tangjiazhuang, xiaolingzi, Wawu, xidouya, yujiaguanzhuang, liubutuan, xiaomajiatuan, dongdouya, hanjialiu, shangdingjiawa and hexitun. On October 11, 2019, the people's Government of Shandong Province agreed that the name of Zangnan town in Huangdao District of Qingdao city should be changed to zangma Town, and its administrative area and the residence of the town government should remain unchanged.

geographical environment
