Daxiwan Township
Daxiwan Township, belonging to Zhangbei County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the northwest of Zhangbei County, adjacent to Tuchengzi town of Kangbao County in the East, Gonghui town and Hailiutu Township in the south, Shijing township of Shangyi County in the West and liangmianjing Township in the north. It is 46.5km away from the people's Government of Zhangbei County, with a total area of 216.27km2.
In 1949, daxiwan Township belonged to five districts of Zhangbei County; in 1996, it was renamed daxiwan Township from huangshiya township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Tai Xi Wan township was 14146. As of June 2020, daxiwan rural area has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 67, government West Road, daxiwan village.
In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises in daxiwan Township, including two above scale enterprises and six comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1949, daxiwan Township belonged to five districts of Zhangbei County.
In 1958, it belonged to torch commune.
In 1961, daxiwan commune was set up.
In 1982, daxiwan commune was renamed huangshiya commune.
In 1984, huangshiya commune was changed into huangshiya township.
In 1996, Huang Shiya township was renamed daxiwan township.

Guanyin Temple
Zhangbei Guanyin temple is located in shibatai village, daxiwan Township, Zhangbei County. It is said that before the construction of Zhangbei Guanyin temple, there was a stone temple, which was built by Emperor Wuzong of Yuan Dynasty. In 1938, Zhangbei Guanyin temple was expanded on the former site of "goddess Stone Temple", also known as "Taishan Niangniang Temple".
