Shuiman Township, subordinate to Wuzhishan City, Hainan Province, is located in the northeast of Wuzhishan City, connecting Shangan township of Qiongzhong Li and Miao Autonomous County in the East, Bacun township of Baoting Li and Miao Autonomous County in the southeast, Nansheng town in the south, Maoyang town in the west, Hongmao town and Shiyun Township of Qiongzhong Li and Miao Autonomous County in the northeast. The Township People's government is 34 kilometers away from Wuzhishan City. The total administrative area is 108.06 square kilometers.
Before March 8, 1935, shuimantong belonged to Ding'an County. On July 5, 2001, Tongshi city was renamed Wuzhishan City, and Wuzhishan township was renamed Shuiman Township, which belongs to Wuzhishan City. By the end of 2018, the total number of registered residence in Shui man township was 4517. As of June 2020, Shuiman township has jurisdiction over five administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Fanglong village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Shuiman township was 6.69 million yuan, an increase of 51.2% over the previous year; the industrial and commercial tax revenue was 2.77 million yuan, an increase of 196.83% over the previous year; the financial expenditure was 6.6 million yuan, an increase of 106.25% over the previous year. Before March 8, 1935, shuimantong belonged to Ding'an County.
On March 8, 1935, Baisha County was established and put under the jurisdiction of Baisha County.
In October 1958, Hongmao Township, Maozhan Township and Shuiman Township merged to form Wuzhishan commune.
In December 1958, Wuzhishan commune in Baisha County was under the jurisdiction of Qiongzhong County.
In May 1961, Wuzhishan commune was divided into Maoyang commune, Shiyun commune, Wuzhishan commune and Hongmao commune.
In May 1983, Wuzhishan commune was renamed Wuzhishan commune.
In June 1986, Wuzhishan District Office was put under the jurisdiction of Tongshi city.
In January 1987, it was renamed Wuzhishan township.
On July 5, 2001, Tongshi city was renamed Wuzhishan City, and Wuzhishan township was renamed Shuiman Township, which belongs to Wuzhishan City.

It is located in Shuiman Township, Wuzhishan City, 28 kilometers away from Wuzhishan urban area, with an area of 3000 square kilometers.
