Dututang town

Dututang town is located in the east of Lianyuan City, bordering Shijing township of Loudi City, 36 kilometers away from the urban area, with a total area of 62.89 square kilometers (2017), 12.47 million mu of arable land and a population of 29523 (2017).

Historical evolution

Before the founding of new China, dututang township was the Ninth District of Xiangxiang County, Yanfu Township, and the third district of Chang'an township of Anhua County. After the founding of new China, it was a part of Yinxi, chuanmen, Songjiang, Xiangyang, Xintian, Shigou Township, the Ninth District of Xiangxiang County, and Mingjing Township, the Fourth District of Anhua County. After the establishment of the county, it belongs to the eighth District of Lianyuan county. In 1956, it was Yinxi township. In 1958, the Dutoutang commune was established. In 1960, most of the brigades of dututang commune were assigned to Loudi City, and a small number of brigades were incorporated into nearby communes. In October 1962, Loudi City was abolished, its administrative area was still included in Lianyuan County, and the organizational system of dututang commune was restored. In 1968, the three communes, namely, dututang, Shijing and Xinchang, were merged, and the next year they were separated. They were still dututang communes. In 1984, dututang commune was transformed into dututang township. In 1989, dututang Township governed 19 administrative villages and 149 villager groups in Lianxi, Shengqi, Juhua, Yuanzi, Zhushan, Yinxi, Yinzhong, Guangguang, Xiangyang, Rixin, Wenming, Qiaoxi, Xintian, Xinlong, Xinqi, Xinping, Tongling, quantangwan (quantang) and Dongfeng. In 2009, dututang township was merged with Zengjiang township to establish dututang town. And the whole line opens the ferry to increase the highway. Before taking over, all villagers' groups were added to the town. The main schools are: Central School of dututang Town, additional middle school and Xiangyang Kangming hope school.

Agriculture

Around the goal of increasing farmers' income, the pace of agricultural industrialization construction has been accelerated. The five leading industries of cattle, pig, fish, rice, chicken and vegetables have been growing. We have developed a foreign trade pig breeding base based on Chrysanthemum Village and Wenming village, and 30 large farmers with more than 200 live pigs per year; built a beef cattle breeding demonstration village based on Lianxi, quantang, Shanshan and other villages, and developed chicken and fish farmers with Xiangyang Village as the leader. (1) Lianyuan power plant of China Resources Power: the project is located in Yinxi, Zhushan, Yinzhong and Yuanzi villages of Dutoutang town. It is invested by Hong Kong China Resources Group with an installed capacity of 2 × 300000 kW. The first generating unit has been put into operation on May 23, 2009, and the second generating unit has been put into operation on October 18, 2009. The project started land acquisition, demolition and resettlement on June 1, 2006. It took only two months to complete the land acquisition and leasing involving more than 2000 people and 900 mu of land from 29 villager groups in 5 villages. It took more than one month to complete the demolition of 129 houses of 546 people in 181 households. On October 20, 2006, the project officially started, and the foundation construction of the main plant is in progress. The construction of resettlement areas was carried out in an orderly manner. (2) expansion of 12000 tons explosive production line of Lianhua Branch of Hunan 169 Chemical Co., Ltd.: the original annual production capacity of 3000 tons explosive production line of Lianhua Branch of Hunan 169 Chemical Co., Ltd. was expanded with an investment of 22 million yuan from Hunan 169 plant. The project is located in Fenghuangshan section of Xinping village, Dutoutang Township and is planned to be completed by the end of 2007. (3) using fly ash to produce environment-friendly and energy-saving building materials: Hunan Juquan high tech materials Co., Ltd. invested 30 million yuan. (4) production of decorative building materials: Beijing langying peace Decoration Co., Ltd. invested 10 million yuan in construction.
