Lijiang town
Lijiang Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hengnan County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is located in the northwest of Hengnan County, adjacent to Xiangjiang River in the East, across the river from Changning City, adjacent to Jinweizhou town in the southeast, sulfur town in the West and Songjiang town in the north, with an administrative area of 130.17 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Li Jiang town was 71588.
In 1984, after the establishment of the township, Lijiang district had jurisdiction over Lijiang township; in August of the same year, it was changed into Lijiang town; Tanshi Township and Longshi township. In February 1990, it was changed into Zhen and Qishi township. In August 1994, it was changed into Zhen and Qingyun township. In May 1995, Tanshi Township and Longshi town were merged into Lijiang town. As of June 2020, Lijiang town has 4 communities and 22 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Lijiang town was 5.68 million yuan, an increase of 1.15% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 1.294 million yuan, an increase of 2.1% over the previous year. 769000 yuan of business tax and 420000 yuan of value-added tax were completed. The per capita fiscal revenue was 18560 yuan, an increase of 1.6% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 40 industrial enterprises in Lijiang Town, including 4 Enterprises above the designated size and 8 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In October 1949, it belonged to the first district of Hengyang County.
In July 1952, it belongs to the Tenth District of Hengnan County.
In June 1955, it was changed into Lijiang district.
In August 1957, Lijiang township was established.
In February 1959, Lijiang people's commune was established.
In July 1961, Lijiang district was established.
