TANZISHAN Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hengnan County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is located in the west of Hengnan County, bordering Santang town in the East, Zhoushi Township in the southeast, Maoshi town in the south, zhashi town in the southwest, Quanhu town in the West and Hengyang County in the north, with an administrative area of 110.54 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the population of Tan Zi Shan town had 46186 registered residence.
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, belonging to Tanshan township. In 1961, the district system was restored to TANZISHAN people's commune. In 1984, it was changed to township. In 1995, the former Jingshan township was merged with the former TANZISHAN town. As of June 2020, TANZISHAN town has 2 communities and 17 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of TANZISHAN town was 5.89 million yuan, an increase of 9% over the previous year. Among them, local fiscal revenue was 4.7 million yuan, an increase of 10% over the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, we have completed 3.9 million yuan of business tax, 500000 yuan of value-added tax and 200000 yuan of enterprise income tax. In 2018, TANZISHAN town has one industrial enterprise and 26 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Qingquan county.
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to Hengyang County.
In October 1949, it belonged to the Fourth District of Hengyang County.
In July 1952, it belongs to the fourteenth District of Hengnan County.
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, belonging to Tanshan township.
In 1961, the district system was restored to TANZISHAN people's commune.
In 1984, it was changed to township.
In 1995, the former Jingshan township was merged with the former TANZISHAN town.

By the end of 2011, TANZISHAN town had three communities: shuilian, Beiyin and Chezhan, and 33 administrative villages: Sima, Liantang, Xinglong, Shuijing, Xianglong, Weizi, Paogong, Qingfu, Mantang, Wutang, Shangtang, FTU, Minzhu, Mutan, fengshu, Songqiao, Tanshan, Lejia, linling, Yanghu, Panlong, ZengShi, Tongfu, tuanling, Xianghua, Yinhua, Shicun, Datian, Gaocun Changqiu, Yangmei, Matang and Changjiang.
As of June 2020, TANZISHAN town has 2 communities: shuilian community and station community, 17 administrative villages: Sima village, Liantang village, Shuijing village, Xianglong village, Paogong village, Wutang village, Shangtang village, Gonglian Village, fengshu village, Mutan village, Lejia village, Yanghu village, ZengShi village, Xianghua village, Datian village, Changqiu village and Gaoyang village, and the town people's government is stationed in Xinglong Village.
