Huangshan Township
Huangshan township is located in the south of Huguan County, 12 kilometers away from the county, in the edge of the county. It borders Dianshang Township in the East, baichi Township in the south, Xichi Township and Yincheng Township in Changzhi County in the west, and Longquan town in the north. The township covers an area of 55.45 square kilometers. The mountainous area accounts for 65%, which is a typical hilly area. The climate of the whole township has a large temperature difference, four distinct seasons, less rainfall and an average annual temperature of 9 ℃. The ecological environment is general, with forest area accounting for 25% of the township area.
Huguan County, Changzhi City, Shanxi Province has 35 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. The resident population was 27529 (2017). The net income per capita is 2230 yuan. The highest altitude of the township is 1200 meters, and the lowest is 900 meters. Due to the geographical environment and historical conditions, the economic development of the township is relatively slow, and the social undertakings are relatively backward. The structure of food crops is single, mainly including corn, millet and potato. Economic income mainly depends on the export of labor services, planting and breeding industries, mainly including pigs, cattle, sheep, rabbits, chickens and other livestock and poultry. Natural disasters are frequent, mainly frost, hail, wind and so on. There are few mineral resources in the territory, mainly including iron and coal. However, due to various reasons, only two coal mines are in production. In recent years, the Party committee and government of Huangshan township have intensified efforts to help the poor, the economic benefits of traditional industries have been improved to a certain extent, and the pillar industries have also developed rapidly. However, compared with the average level of the whole county, the development speed of our township is still relatively slow, and the comprehensive gap is gradually widening.

Township enterprises are mainly coal mining. Agriculture mainly produces corn, wheat and millet.

Culture, education and health
There are 21 primary schools and 1 middle school in the township. One township health center has implemented full coverage of village health centers, and 95% of farmers have participated in medical cooperation. There are grass-roots organization activity places, rural library, green sketch, cultural and sports activity places in every village.
Scenic Spots and Historical Sites
San Gu Temple
Located in Nanyang Village North Hill, surrounded by mulberry locust, pleasant scenery. On June 25, 2001, it was listed as the fifth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. The temple was founded in the 15th year of jindading and rebuilt in the 3rd year of Jiajing. The layout of the temple is reasonable and the structure is rigorous. It used to be a two-way courtyard, but now has one courtyard, covering an area of 1140 square meters. It plays an important role in the wood structure architecture of Song Dynasty, Liao Dynasty and Jin Dynasty in China. It is the earliest ancient architecture with the highest value of art and cultural relics in the wood structure architecture of Huguan county.
Temple of the Jade Emperor
It is located in Xisha cave Nao mountain, shaku village, Huangshan township (1172 meters above sea level, called ancient holy mountain in Yuan Dynasty). There are Neolithic Shang and Zhou sites, ancient sculptures of the Northern Wei Dynasty, seven Buddha Hall sites of the Yuan Dynasty, Niujia ancestral hall of the Ming Dynasty, Yuhuang Temple of the Qing Dynasty, and niujialehu, a national intangible cultural heritage. There are many sand and stone on the surface of shakunao mountain. There are a lot of conch and fish fossils on the exposed bluestone. It was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Shanxi Province in 1996.
