Yilou Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Hengyang County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is located in the east of Hengyang County, adjacent to Zhangmu Township in the East, Jibing town in the south, Zhajiang town in the west, Jiepai Town and Dianmen town in Hengshan County in the north, with an administrative area of 120.24 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 24224 households registered residence in the township.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the town of Luo. During the period of the Republic of China, it was the hometown of Luo. In May 1995, the district was withdrawn from Jingxiang. As of June 2020, the township has 10 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of yilou township was 4.3314 million yuan, an increase of 11.2% over the previous year. Among them, the general budget revenue was 3.3468 million yuan, an increase of 14.3% over the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, business tax was 112000 yuan, personal income tax was 78000 yuan, and per capita fiscal revenue was 204.7 yuan, an increase of 8% over the previous year. History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the town of Luo.
During the period of the Republic of China, it was the hometown of Luo.
In October 1949, it belonged to the third district of Hengyang County.
In July 1952, it belonged to the 15th district (later it was changed into a troop gathering District).
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into shenhuang township.
In September 1958, it belonged to Hongqi people's commune (later renamed Zhangmu commune).
In December 1961, it was a military gathering area.
In May 1995, the district was withdrawn from Jingxiang.
administrative division
In May 1995, the three townships of yilou, shenhuang and jiangbaiyan merged into yilou township.
By the end of 2011, the township had 17 administrative villages: Fengshan, Shanyun, shenhuang, Fuxing, yinzishan, Gaofeng, Jiyun, Heshi, Chengqian, Songbai, Yangmei, lashu, Shuangjiang, Qilishan, Baishi, juexian and Miaoxi, with 243 villager groups.
As of June 2020, Galou township has 10 administrative villages: Shanyun village, Fuxing village, shenhuang village, Fengshan village, Gaofeng village, Songbai village, lashu village, juexian village, Huandong village, baishifeng village and Jiangjun village. The township government is stationed in SongWan group of Shanyun village.
