Tangquan Street
Tangquan street belongs to Pukou District of Nanjing city. It is located in the northwest of Pukou District. It is adjacent to Laoshan Forest Farm in the south, Chuhe River in the north, Chuzhou City in Anhui Province in the west, Tangquan farm in the west, Xingdian street in the southwest and Yongning Street in the northeast. There are eight scenic spots of Tangquan, Huiji temple, Laoshan Forest Park and pearl spring.
Tangquan street is the hometown of hot springs in China, a town with beautiful environment in China, and a key central town in China. It is named after hot springs and famous for its seedlings. It is known as the unique landscape of "Ten Mile hot spring belt, hundred mu Jiulong lake, thousand year old Ginkgo biloba, ten thousand mu seedling forest". In 2011, Tangquan street was rated as the first batch of "hot spring town in China", and is the only town in Jiangsu Province with this honor. On July 29, 2020, it will be included in the National Health township (county) naming list of 2017-2019 cycle.

Historical evolution
Tangquan has a long history. As early as the Neolithic age, the ancestors of Tangquan had produced, lived and multiplied in yangshantou.
From ancient times to the Western Zhou Dynasty, Tangquan belonged to ancient Yangzhou (one of the ancient Kyushu).
In the spring and Autumn period and the Warring States period, it belonged to Chu. Later, it came to Wu. When Wu died, it came to Yue. When Chu destroyed Yue, it still belonged to Chu.
In the Qin and Han Dynasties, Tangquan belonged to wujiangting, Dongcheng County, Jiujiang county.
At the time of the Three Kingdoms, Tangquan belonged to Sun Wu. In the Jin Dynasty, it was located in Wujiang County, Liyang county.
In the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Tangquan belonged to Weishi County of Qin county.
In Sui Dynasty, Tangquan belonged to Wujiang County of Hezhou.
Tang and Five Dynasties Jin, Han, Tangquan belongs to the Southern Tang Dynasty.
In the Northern Song Dynasty, the town was established as Tangquan Town, belonging to Huainan Road West and Wujiang County of Liyang Prefecture.
In the Yuan Dynasty, Tangquan established a village, which belonged to Luzhou Road, Jiangbei Road, Huaixi County, Henan Province, and Wujiang county.
In 1376, Tangquan was divided into Township and Li. In June of the same year, Zhu Yuanzhang reformed the local administrative structure and established Jiangpu County. Tangquan belonged to Renfeng township of Jiangpu County. Later Ming Taizu changed Tangquan into Xiangquan, which is also called Xiangquan town.
In the fourth year of Yongzheng reign (1726) of the Qing Dynasty, Tangquan was divided into Township and Bao. Tangquan belonged to BEIXIANG, which had jurisdiction over four Bao: Tangquan Bao, baitaying Bao, qingshigang Bao and mengzezui Bao. Tangquan belongs to the North Township of Jiangpu County.
From the 10th year of Xianfeng to the 3rd year of tongzhi (1860-1864), Tangquan belonged to Tianpu province of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.
In 1908, the name of BEIXIANG was changed to Yongning township. Although the name was changed, Tangquan had jurisdiction over Baoru as before. Tangquan belonged to Yongning township.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it followed the system of Xiang and Bao in Qing Dynasty.
In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), it was a three-level system of province, Dao and county. Under the county level, the district township system was implemented. Tangquan belonged to the fourth and fifth districts of Jiangpu County, Jinling Road, Jiangsu Province.
In April 1927, the Taoist system was abolished, and Tangquan belonged to the Fifth District of Jiangpu County, Jiangsu Province.
In 1928, the insurance system was abolished and the new village system was reorganized. Urban street, rural village. Later, the implementation of regional autonomy, Yongning township to Yongning District, district under the Li, village. Tangquan belongs to Yongning district.
In July 1929, Yongning district was changed into five districts, and Tangquan district was then divided into five districts. The division units were towns and villages instead of Li and Cun. Li was renamed town and Cun was renamed township. Tangquan district was divided into L towns and 7 townships, namely Tangquan town. Baitaying Township, Huiji Township, Fenghuang Township, Sihe Township, Lanba Township, Shanxia Township and Taiping Township. Below the town, the division units are inter and adjacent, with five households as one neighborhood and five neighbors as one Lu.
In 1934, villages and towns were merged, the system of Lu neighborhood was abolished, and the Baojia system was implemented. The original 7 townships were merged into 2 townships, namely Taiping Township and Qingping township. Baobao and Jiabao are under the township level. Taiping Township governs 4 Baobao, Qingping Township governs 6 Baobao, Tangquan town governs 8 Baobao. Tangquan District governs 1 town, 2 townships, 18 Baobao and 229 Jiabao. Tangquan belongs to the fourth and fifth districts of Jiangpu County, the ninth administrative supervision district of Jiangsu Province.
In May 1940, the Jianghe Working Committee of the Communist Party of China was established. Tangquan belongs to the chizhen District of Jianghe Working Committee.
In January 1943, the office of the High Commissioner of North Anhui Province established Jiangquan (pepper) office in North Township of Hexian county and Jiangpu area. Tangquan is located in Beishan District of Jiangquan Office of Wanjiang district Party committee of the Communist Party of China.
In October 1944, the Commissioner's office of Huainan Ludong established Jiangpu office at the junction of Jiangpu, Liuhe and Lai'an counties. Tangquan belongs to Hanhe District of the CPC Huainan District Committee.
In March 1948, the division units below the town were still Bao and Jia. After the merger, Tangquan town changed from 229a of 18 guarantees in 2 townships of 1 town to 149a of 10 guarantees in 1 town. Tangquan Town, Qingping Town, which originally belonged to five districts, and Taiping Town, which belonged to four districts, were merged into Tangquan town.
On April 21, 1949, the whole territory of Jiangpu was liberated. Tangquan town was changed into Tangquan Township, which is subordinate to Tangquan District of Jiangpu County.

In June 1949, Tangquan belonged to Chuxian special office. In August of the same year, Tangquan district was abolished and replaced by Xingdian district and Yongning district. Tangquan belonged to Xingdian district and Yongning district respectively. Tangquan is Tangquan Township and Quanxi Township under the jurisdiction of Yongning district. Tangquan Township governs wugao village, Chenqiao village, Doumen village and Changzhou village; Quanxi Township governs Fenghuang village, Sanhuang village, Guangrong village, Zhangxia village, Diannong village and great village.
In April 1950, Xingdian and Yongning districts were abolished and Tangquan district was restored. Tangquan belonged to Tangquan district.
In May 1951, Tangquan Township and Quanxi Township in Tangquan district were divided into Tangquan Township, Wadian Township, Qilian Township, Yuchong Township and CHENQiao township.
In May 1952, Tangquan district was abolished and divided into Xingdian and Yongning districts. Tangquan district is divided into Xingdian district and Yongning district. Tangquan Township, Wadian Township and Qilian Township belong to Xingdian district; Yuchong Township and Chenqiao Township belong to Yongning district. In the winter of that year, the village group system was changed to the representative district system. Generally, 15 or 25 households were one electoral district, 2-6 electoral districts were one representative District, and 5 townships were divided into 30 representative districts.
In January 1953, Tangquan was changed to Yangzhou.
In 1954, for the first time, small townships merged with big townships. Tangquan Shanbei town was set up in Tangquan street, which governs Tangquan street, Yongning Street and Xige street. Around Tangquan street, Quandong township (subordinate to Yongning District) and Quanxi township (subordinate to Xingdian District) were set up. The representative areas below township level were gradually transformed into primary agricultural production cooperatives.
In August 1955, Tangquan Township People's government was renamed Tangquan Township People's Committee.
In February 1956, Tangquan was changed to Zhenjiang District. In March of the same year, the district system was abolished, and townships were merged for the second time. Tangquan township was established, which was made up of four communities in Wanshou Township, Qilian Township, Tangquan Township, Yuchong Township, Wadian Township and CHENQiao township. In August, primary agricultural production cooperatives below the township level gradually rose to senior agricultural production cooperatives. There is a production team under the society. The township has a total of 15 senior agricultural production cooperatives, namely: Gaohua society, Doumen society, Xilong society, Jiuyi society, jiu2 society, jiu3 society, jiu4 society, Wantang society, qilianshe society, Huangzhuang society, Sanquan society, Sanhe society, Lianhe society, Wadian society and Chenzhuang society.
In January 1957, Tangquan was changed to Yangzhou. There are 16 senior agricultural production cooperatives under the jurisdiction of the township.
In July 1958, Tangquan returned to Nanjing. On September 4 of the same year, the organizational system of Tangquan township was abolished and the happy people's commune was established. The units under the commune are the production brigade and the production brigade. In October of the same year, through consultation between Jiangsu Provincial Department of agriculture and forestry and Jiangpu County, the seven associations originally belonging to Tangquan Township were assigned to Tangquan farm; the former Jiusan and Jiusi associations were merged into Yuchong brigade; the former Jiuyi and jiu2 associations were merged into Jiuyi brigade; the former Gaohua association was changed into Gaohua brigade; the former Xilong and Doumen half associations were merged into Shiqiao brigade; the former Huangzhuang and Doumen half associations were merged into Huangzhuang brigade; the former Sanquan group was merged into Shiqiao brigade The former Sanhe Group was changed into Sanquan group; the former Sanhe Group was changed into Sanhe Group; the former Lianhe group and Wantang group were merged into Lianhe group; the former Chenzhuang group was changed into Chenzhuang group; the former Wadian group and zhaoe group were merged into Wadian group. The commune has 10 production teams and 62 production teams.
In February 1960, Jiangpu County Party committee decided to merge Laoshan people's commune into Tangquan people's commune. The two production teams of Sanhe brigade in the west of Tailai River were merged into Tangquan farm. Danian, Yongguo production brigade, Danian fruit farm, Yongning fruit farm, Laoshan Forest Farm and Wadian fruit farm were added to the commune. The whole society has a total of 12 teams and 4 venues. On March 12 of the same year, Sanquan, Sanhe, Lianhe, Gaohua, Shiqiao and Huangzhuang were merged into Sanquan farm; Yuchong and Jiuyi were merged into Laoshan Forest Farm; Chenzhuang, Wadian and renwadian fruit farm.
In July 1961, the original Laoshan people's commune was set aside from Tangquan people's commune, with 10 brigades instead of 12, and the establishment of Sanquan farm, Laoshan Forest Farm and Wadian fruit farm was canceled. On July 30, the happy people's commune was renamed as Tangquan people's commune. According to the regulations of the CPC Central Committee on the work of rural people's communes (Draft), the CPC Tangquan people's commune Committee adjusted the division scale of the brigade according to the principle of "conducive to production, management, unity and leadership".
