Dafasi town (formerly known as Yangcheng District) is located in the southwest of Wuxue City, Hubei Province, 10 km away from Wuxue City. It is adjacent to Qizhou town of Qichun county and Siwang Town, Shifosi Town, Zhanjiang street and Tianzhen street of the city in turn. The town government is located in Liji Road, Dafasi town. Historical evolution

Dafasi town is an agricultural town. It once had a good reputation of "Yangcheng citrus Wanlixiang, Baike ramie floating in the ocean, jiuniushan lime selling well in the Yangtze River, two lakes fresh fish turning golden waves, Qifan grain and oil piled up in warehouses, Lei bamboo products famous in the river, good breed pig farms everywhere".

There are nine planting areas in the town, namely guijiafan, ganshafan, taochengfan, majifan, yangmufan, zhaijiafan, heshangfan, tuqiaofan and peiniuzui. The main planting mode is "oil rice" double cropping system. The annual rice planting area is 43000 mu, rape 45000 mu, cotton 5000 mu, wheat 8000 mu and corn 3000 mu.
