Xujiadong Town, belonging to Suxian District, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, is an industrial and mining comprehensive market town with mining as the main task and the combination of industry and agriculture. It is located in the northeast of Suxian District, bordering bailutang, Matouling and Wulipai towns in the East, West and north respectively, and Chenjiang Township and suburban township of Beihu District in the south. The town government is located in Xujiadong village, 15 kilometers southwest of Chenzhou City, with an altitude of 208 meters. It is 4 kilometers away from 107 national highway. The town was established in 1982, belonging to Chenzhou City at the county level, and was assigned to Suxian District in March 1995. There are 64 Township affiliated and resident units.

Evolution of organizational system

Xujiadong town belongs to Yongfeng Township of Chen County in 1949. Xujiadong township was established in 1956, merged into suburban commune in 1958, divided into Xujiadong commune in 1961 and established in 1983. Located in the northeast of the city. in December 2015, Xujiadong town and Matouling Township formed an organic system and merged to establish Xujiadong town.

Xujiadong town is located 15 kilometers northeast of Suxian District, adjacent to Feitianshan town and bailutang town in the East, xiameiqiao street, Luoxian street and Huatang town in Beihu District in the south, Yangshi town in Guiyang County in the west, qifengdu town and Wulipai town in the north.

Transportation and Tourism

By the end of 2002, the transportation and communication in the territory were developed. The Beijing Guangzhou railway and Zixu railway passed through the territory.
