Located in the north of Jiaoling County, Zhenshan National Forest Park was built in the early 1980s and approved as a national forest park by the State Forestry Administration in December 2009.
The total area of the park is 2200 hectares, including 2055 hectares of forest land, accounting for 93.4% of the total area of the park.
