Changgu town
Changgu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Tang County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Tang County, adjacent to Renhou town in the East, Wangjing town and Dingzhou City in the south, nandiantou Township and Beiluo town in the west, Renhou town and duting Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 14.8 km, and the maximum distance from north to south is 6.2 km, with a total area of 43.1 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total registered residence of the town was 44261.
In 1953, changgucheng township was built. In 1961, changgucheng commune was established. In 1984, it was changed into changgu town. In December 2013, it was approved by the Department of civil affairs of Hebei Province to withdraw the township and build a town. As of June 2020, changgu town has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in changgu village. Changgucheng town is the planting site of Tangxian jujube, a national geographical indication product of China.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of changgu town reached 182.39 million yuan, the total industrial output value was 58.12 million yuan, and the total financial revenue was 3 million yuan. In 2018, there were 216 industrial enterprises in changgu Town, including 7 above scale and 76 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In 1953, changgucheng township was built.

History and culture

In November 2007, Tang copper casting was listed in the first batch of intangible cultural heritage list by Baoding Municipal People's government.
