Jingcheng Town

Jingcheng Town is a town under the jurisdiction of Zhushan District, Jingdezhen City, Jiangxi Province. With an area of 61.07 square kilometers and a population of 44908 (in 2017), the town is located in the urban-rural fringe and has 15 administrative villages. From January 10, 2014, the district was adjusted and put under the jurisdiction of Zhushan District in Jingdezhen.

Jingcheng Town has won more than 10 honors above the provincial level, including "national advanced unit for developing township enterprises", "national advanced working village for civilized villages and towns", "national advanced unit for legal publicity and education" and "Jiangxi red flag grass roots Party committee" of the people's Republic of China. The comprehensive strength of the township ranks first in Jingdezhen city for consecutive years, and has been recommended as a candidate unit for national civilized towns by Jiangxi Province.

Historical evolution

In history, the administrative division of Jingcheng Town has changed many times. The jurisdiction was once a part of lirendu, zhenshidu and changluodu in Xingxi township of Fuliang County. Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, it belonged to Liren Township, the Second District of Fuliang County. At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was Liren Township, a district of Fuliang County. In 1952, when Daxiang was designated as Xiaoxiang, it was a suburb of the city, with jurisdiction divided into Liren Township, Sanbao Township, Qingtang Township, Yinkeng Township and Xinchang township. In 1953, it was xiaogangzui Township, situ Township, Zhiren Township, Yinkeng Township, Sanbao Township and Qingtang Township in the Fourth District of Jingdezhen. In 1956, eight senior communes, Qingtang, Changjiang, Sanhe, Shuguang, Yinkeng, Lichun, Xinchang and Sanbao, were established; in 1958, Jingcheng people's commune was established, which is still under the jurisdiction of the suburban government. In l959, it was directly under the municipal government. In l970, it was under the jurisdiction of Jingnan district (now Changjiang District). In 1983, the Yanghu brigade of Xinping commune in Ehu district and the huangnitou brigade of Nan'an commune rowed. In 1990, the Yanghu brigade was separated. In 1984, it was changed into a township system and a township government was established. In 1995, the township was withdrawn to build a town. In January 2014, Jiangxi Provincial Department of Civil Affairs approved the approval of Jingdezhen city to adjust some administrative divisions, in which it was agreed that Jingcheng Town of Changjiang district should be under the jurisdiction of Zhushan district; changnanhu and Jinan Mingdu neighborhood committees of Jingcheng Town should be under the jurisdiction of Xijiao sub district office of Changjiang District; Hexi and Sanhe Village Committees should be under the jurisdiction of Xinfeng sub district office of Changjiang district; beijingyuan neighborhood committee should be under the jurisdiction of Zhushan district The Yanghu village committee of Fuliang town in Fuliang County was put under the jurisdiction of Jingcheng Town.

Geography and climate

Jingcheng Town is located in the hilly area, with the highest peak of niufuling in the south, 647 meters above sea level. It is a subtropical monsoon climate with abundant heat and annual average temperature of 17.1 ℃; it has abundant rainfall and annual average precipitation of 1736.5 mm; it has sufficient sunshine and annual average sunshine hours of 1968.5 hours; it has long frost free period and annual average frost free period of 248 days. In the late winter and early spring, affected by the Siberian cold high, the weather is cold and northerly; at the turn of spring and summer, the cold and warm air from north to south, with continuous plum rain; in midsummer, the subtropical high controls the subtropical high, with southerly wind and hot weather; in summer and autumn, the weather is sunny and hot and controlled by a single tropical ocean air mass. Changjiang River runs through the West from north to south, and its tributaries, Nanhe River and Xihe River, flow into Changjiang River from South and west respectively. The 602 industrial park investment platform, covering an area of 2 square kilometers, has introduced Jingdi, Longdi, Zhongtian Technology, Jingqing and other projects with an annual output value of more than 10 million yuan. as the town is a town in the city of Jingdezhen, many rural labors have penetrated into the industrial production of Jingdezhen, which is not different from the nature of urban workers. Culture
