Hongchuan Town, belonging to juancheng County, Heze City, Shandong Province, is located in the east of juancheng County, bordering chenpo township of Yuncheng County in the East, Huang'an town of Yuncheng County in the southeast, Yanshi town in the south, Yinma Township and Fenghuang town in the west, and Jishan town in the north. The area is 54.34 square kilometers. In 2018, 37305 people registered residence.

At the end of 1957, Hongchuan township was established. In January 1979, the red boat commune was established. In December 1983, Hongchuan town was set up when the society was withdrawn and the township was built. In June 2020, Hongchuan town has 25 administrative villages.

Sun's ancestral hall

Sun's ancestral hall is located in the north of the middle section of Dongzhai Dongxi street, Sunlaojia village, Hongchuan town. It was first built in the fifth year of mingjingtai (1454), covering an area of more than 10 mu. There are 5 main halls and 3 East and West Wing rooms respectively. It is a pity that it suffered from war and fire during the reign of Chongzhen. During the reign of Emperor Daoguang of the Qing Dynasty, the ancestral hall was rebuilt. There are three ancestral halls, with a north facing south block, covering an area of 70 square meters and a brick and wood structure. The architectural form is simple and elegant. There is a rectangular plaque on the top of the ancestral hall, which reads "the ancestral hall of the sun family". The gate couplet of the ancestral hall reads "the great achievements of the ancestors, the great achievements of the descendants, and the spring of thousands of years", which reads "a long history". There is a shrine in the ancestral hall, 2 meters high and 1.2 meters wide. There are gold-plated Dragon Gate inscriptions on both sides. The memorial tablet of Sun Bin is worshipped in the middle of the shrine, and there are two dragons playing with pearls on it. The memorial tablets of Sun Bin's descendants are displayed on both sides of the shrine. In front of the ancestral hall, there is a stele of ancestral hall. On the positive side of the stele, there is a preface to the ancestral hall of sun's family. On the negative side of the stele, there is an overview of the branches of sun's family.

Sun Bin Memorial Hall

Sun Bin memorial hall is located 200 meters in the east of the village, covering an area of 4500 square meters. The main building is Sun Bin Memorial Hall and forest of steles. There are five main halls in the memorial hall. The statue of Sun Bin is placed in the center. Six large murals are painted on the four walls, such as "Sun Bin herding cattle", "Tianji horse racing", "battle of Guilin" and "battle of Maling". In the west, there is a large sand table of "construction planning of Sun Bin's hometown", and three East and west auxiliary halls. Sun Bin is displayed in the East Hall Sun Bin's works and articles are displayed in the West Hall. A huge plaque is hung above the gate, and the inscription "Sun Bin Memorial Hall" is inscribed by the famous calligrapher Ma Faran. The forest of Steles is an important part of Sun Bin Memorial Hall. In June 1994, Shandong provincial government approved the investment of Taiwan compatriots in the construction of Sun Bin tourist city with LUZHENG Zi (1994) No. 94 document. It is located near sunhuayuan village, Jishan Town, with a planning area of 650000 square meters.
