Zhushan Township, belonging to Wanzhou District of Chongqing, is located in the west of Wanzhou District, with Jiuchi Township and Gaofeng town in the East, Ganning town in the south, Fenshui town in the West and Lihe town and Gaoliang town in the north. It is 15.4km away from the government of Wanzhou District, with a total area of 53.88km2.
In the Qing Dynasty, Zhushan Township belonged to Qijia, sanzhengli, Wanxian County; in October 1984, it was changed from Zhushan commune to Zhushan township. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in the township was 16028. As of June 2020, Zhushan township has jurisdiction over one community and nine administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 1 Zhushan street.

History of construction
Zhushan township is named after zhutou mountain.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Qijia, sanzhengli, Wanxian county.
In 1935, zhutou township was divided into two groups. In 1938, it was changed to Zhushan township.
In April 1961, Zhushan township was changed into Zhushan commune.
In October 1984, Zhushan commune was changed into Zhushan township.
In December 1992, Zhushan township was subordinate to Longbao District of Wanxian city.
In July 1998, it was subordinate to Wanzhou District.
