According to local people, the height from the bottom of the bridge to the ground is more than 2 meters. there are 12 balustrades on the bridge, with lions of different shapes carved on the top. There are 10 stone balustrades inlaid between the two balustrades, and there are 8 existing ones. There are 20 stone balustrades inlaid on the balustrades, and one stone bar inlaid on the bottom, and there are 17 existing ones, all of which are engraved with relief patterns. The reliefs on the stone railings are all fairy tales. After identification, they are Eight Immortals crossing the sea, Shouxing playing chess, Tianma XingKong, chaiwang cart crossing the bridge, ox cart traveling, deer Crane, bat longevity and iron pestle grinding needle. The pillar is also carved with bamboo, plum, birds, animals and landscape figures. The carving of stone bridge is vigorous and simple. There were three culverts under the bridge, but now the culverts have been silted up and filled up because the bridge is not used for drainage. According to the people nearby, the dragon head is carved in the north and the dragon tail is carved in the south at the top of the cave, winding up and down, and the shape is vivid; a stone tiger is carved around the bridge, with its claws lying still and imposing. Unfortunately, they were smashed during the cultural revolution. Because of the small span of the bridge, the bridge deck is flat, not arched, so as to facilitate traffic. Boji bridge was built in Ming Dynasty. According to qiaoliang annals of the old county annals, "Boji bridge is outside the east gate, half of its Guanxiang is the North-South thoroughfare from Shouzhang to Dongchang. After every rain, water is injected, or it goes to the top, which makes the road between East and West Zhangqiu blocked, and the residents are separated. In the 25th year of the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty, Fu Dao, the magistrate of the county, ordered Dong Xianzhang to build a stone bridge with three spaces, and set up railings beside it. He called it Boji, and changed the old road to gaofuyan, which is on the east side. " According to this, the bridge was built in the 25th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1597 A.D.) and has a history of nearly 400 years. Although it has been eroded by wind and rain for many years, the bridge body is still as strong as ever without collapse and fracture. Boji bridge is also called stone ox pulling stone cart bridge, which is named after the carved picture of ox cart traveling on the bridge. According to the records of Yanggu County annals, "there is a county magistrate in the city, Da, whose official is incorruptible. When he came to office, the only cow came by car. On the day of leaving office, the cow gave birth to a calf. The Duke ordered his servant to leave the calf in the city and still drive a cow. Later generations think of their virtue, because they engrave their portraits on the Boji bridge, they still exist today. " Da Gong refers to Da Yishun, the Cheng of Yanggu County during the Wanli period. Later generations called this stone carving "Shiniu Liufang", known as a scene of Yanggu County, and wrote a poem praising: "the cow has been driving, and the calf is crying sadly. The remains of the stone bridge are still here today, and the old people talk about it as if they saw you. " It reposes people's praise and yearning for honest and upright officials.
