Shijian town

Shijian town is located 26 kilometers southeast of Renshou City, in the heart of Renshou County. It borders on otang town in the East, Zhongxiang town in the west, Baofei town in the south, Manjing town and Baoma town in the north. Covering an area of 47.5 square kilometers, the town has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, 80 villager groups, 3 community neighborhood committees and 20 resident groups, with a total number of 11737 households and a total population of 42508. history

Renshou County governs the town. It was established in Sui Dynasty and promoted to county in the fifth year of Daye (609). It was established in the second year of Shengli of Tang Dynasty (699). The county government migrated to Renshou County, and the old city was restored to town. From the Five Dynasties to the Song Dynasty, the system of establishing town was repeated several times. It was changed into commune in 1958, restored to township in 1983, and established town in 1995.
