Jishu Town, belonging to Jinxiang County, Jining City, Shandong Province, is located in the southwest of Jinxiang County, bordering Xinglong Township of Jinxiang County in the East, xuzhai town of Shan County in the south, baifutu town of Chengwu County in the west, mamiao town of Jinxiang County in the northwest, Yushan Town and Jinxiang Street in the north, with an administrative area of 90.58 square kilometers.

History of construction
During the reign of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty, there was a workshop for chicken and millet.
In March 1940, it was the third district of Jinxiang Anti Japanese national government.
After 1945, it was divided into seven districts.
From 1949 to 1950, it was Zhenglou district and zhoulou district.
From 1950 to 1956, it was divided into the seventh district.
