Songdaokou Town, belonging to LUANNAN COUNTY, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the east of LUANNAN COUNTY, bordering tingliuhe town of leting County in the East, daxiangezhuang town of leting County in the south, Fanggezhuang town and Luocheng town in the west, and Changning town in the north, with an administrative area of 87.44 square kilometers.

In May 1946, it belonged to three districts and five districts of LUANNAN COUNTY; in September 1994, it withdrew the township and established songdaokou town; in January 1999, it merged into Nantao Management District; in February 2002, it merged into hougezhuang Management District. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of song Dao Kou Town was 50226. As of June 2020, songdaokou town has jurisdiction over 65 administrative villages, and its people's government is located at 345 Hexie street.

In 2018, there were 98 industrial enterprises in songdaokou Town, including 21 enterprises above Designated Size and 101 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In May 1946, it belonged to three and five districts of LUANNAN COUNTY.

In July 1954, it belonged to ten districts of Luanxian county.

In July 1956, it was named Daokou township of Song Dynasty.

In September 1958, the township was withdrawn, belonging to rocket people's commune of leting county.

In November 1958, it was transferred to the people's commune of Chancheng.

In June 1961, song Daokou people's commune was established.

In January 1963, it was transferred to LUANNAN COUNTY.

In May 1984, the people's commune was abolished and songdaokou township was established.

In September 1994, the township was withdrawn and song Daokou town was established.

In January 1996, hougezhuang town and nantao Township were abolished, and hougezhuang and nantao offices were set up. In April of the same year, the office was renamed management area, and hougezhuang and nantao management areas were managed by songdaokou town.

In January 1999, nantao management area was incorporated into the central government.

In February 2002, hougezhuang management area was merged.
