Wuni town

Wuni town is under the jurisdiction of Yugan County, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province. Located on the South Bank of Poyang Lake and in the north of Yugan County, it is 6.7 km away from the county. It is adjacent to changwan highway in the south, Jinggang highway in the East, 58 km to Nanchang in the West and only 15 km to Poyang County in the north. Yingkang highway, Yuxin highway and Dechang highway run through it. The town covers an area of 19 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 10620 (2017). It has jurisdiction over Wuni neighborhood committee and four village committees, including Wuni, Zhaojia, tonggubao and Gangbei.

This year, three villages (Gangbei group, tonggubao old village and tonggubao New Village) in our town have basically completed the investment projects. Since June, the whole town has been fully cooperating with the land acquisition and demolition work of the Wuni section of the Dechang expressway, and the construction of the Dechang Expressway started smoothly in July.
