Gongji Township
Gongji Township, belonging to Huadian City, Jilin City, Jilin Province, is located in the east of Huadian City, bordering HONGSHILAZI town in the East, narhong town in Jingyu County in the south, Huifa River in the north, Jinsha Township across the water, Yongji street in the west, and 13 kilometers away from Huadian municipal government. The area is 518.8 square kilometers.
In November 1945, Gongji Township belonged to the Second District of Huadian County; in 1983, it was changed from daboji commune to Gongji township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Gong Ji township was 29837. As of June 2020, Gongji village has jurisdiction over 20 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Gongji village, gonglangtou village.
In 2018, there were 13 industrial enterprises in Gongji Township, including one above scale and 25 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In November 1945, it belonged to the Second District of Huadian county.
In 1955, Gongji Township Office was set up, belonging to Huadian county.
In March 1956, Gongji Township Office was changed into xiaoboji township.
In 1958, the three townships of xiaoboji, erdaohezi and Jiangan were merged into daboji township; in October of the same year, daboji township was transformed into daboji commune.
In 1962, daboji commune was divided into daboji commune and erdaohezi commune.
In 1983, daboji commune was changed into Gongji township.
In December 2005, Huanan township (formerly erdaohezi township) was merged into Gongji township.
