Luopi Township, subordinate to Le'an County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the southwest of Le'an County, adjacent to Huping Township in the East, connected with tengtian town and Yaotian town of Yongfeng County in the South and West, and Wanchong town in the north. With a total area of 63 square kilometers, Luopi township has 8 administrative villages and 57 village groups. In late 2018, the population of Luo Po Township had 18 thousand and 700 registered residence population.

Historical evolution
During the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty (1862-1874), it was the 42nd, 43rd and 45th capitals under the jurisdiction of anleli, yungai township.
In 1926, it was NanEr district; in 1931, it was Luopi township of the third district; in 1945, it was Luopi township of Wangxian district.
In 1950, it was under the jurisdiction of Huping district; in August 1955, it was Luopi Township when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged; in 1957, it was Huping district; in 1958, Luopi township was merged into Huping commune; in June 1962, Luopi commune was established; in 1965, Luopi commune was merged into Huping commune again; in 1976, Luopi commune was restored; in April 1984, Luopi commune was abolished and Luopi township was established.
