Zuoan town is located in the southwest of Suichuan County, Ji'an City, Jiangxi Province, adjacent to Nanjiang and Heyuan in the East, Shangyou County in the south, Guidong County and Tanghu town in Hunan Province in the west, and Huangkeng Township in the north.

The town government is located in Henggang village, about 200 meters away from zuoanwu market and 52 kilometers away from the county seat.
