Chongxian Township, subordinate to Xingguo County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the northern mountainous area of Xingguo County, 30 kilometers away from the county. Li Shicai (1906-1994), formerly known as Shi CAI. He was born in junfushan forest farm of Xingguo County. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1930. During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, he served as chairman of the village Soviet, member of the national economy Department of the provincial Soviet government, Secretary of the cadre branch of the second supplementary division of the Red Army, political instructor of the 15th regiment and the 13th regiment company of the 5th division of the Red Army. In 1936, he studied in Yan'an Anti Japanese military and Political University, and later served as the director of the organization section of the Political Department of the second division of the Red Army. During the Anti Japanese War, he served as political instructor of 685 regiment battalion of 343 brigade of 115th division of the Eighth Route Army, chief of organization section of Political Department of Jinxi independent detachment, director of Political Department of 2nd regiment, and political commissar of 8th regiment of 3rd Brigade of Jinji Luyu military region. During the liberation war, he served as the deputy political commissar of the 20th brigade of the 7th column of the Shanxi Hebei Luyu field army. Political commissar of the 19th brigade of the first column, divisional commander of the first army of Hubei Henan military region, and director of the Organization Department of the Political Department of Jiangxi military region. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he served as deputy director of the Political Department of Jiangxi military region, political commissar of Engineering force of Guangzhou Military Region, and second political commissar of Guangxi military region. He was awarded the rank of major general in 1955.
Li Chengrui (1913-1967), a native of Chongxian Township, Xingguo County. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1933. During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, he served as platoon leader of the third regiment of Xingguo model division, organization director of the political department directly under the Political Department of the third Red Army Corps, political instructor of the 12th regiment company of the Fourth Red Army Corps, and special commissioner of the political department directly under the Political Department of the first Red Army Corps. During the Anti Japanese War, he served as the political instructor of the squadron of the Chinese people's Anti Japanese military and Political University, the director of the Political Department of the second regiment, and the cadre section chief of the Organization Department of the Political Department of the general university. Liao Dinglin (1914-2017) joined the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army in 1930. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1935.
