Datangbu town
Datangbu Town, subordinate to Xinfeng County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the middle of Xinfeng County, 13 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Gupi town and Anxi town in the East, Xiaojiang town and TieShiKou town in the south, Taojiang River in the West and Xiaohe Town in the north. It is an important town on the 105 National Highway in the west of Jiangxi and Guangdong. The total area is 175 square kilometers, including 45858 mu of cultivated land. At present, it has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages with a total population of 56216 (in 2010), with a total industrial and agricultural output value of 95.73 million yuan.
The terrain is high in the southeast, low in the northwest and hilly in the middle. The soil is rich in potassium and sandy land. Historical evolution
In the first year of Yongchun of Tang Dynasty (682 A.D.), Datangbu town of Xinfeng County was set up in the East and west of Nankang county. It belonged to Xinfeng County. In Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty, it was datangpu, one of the ancient post houses. In the reign of Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty, it was changed into Datangbu. It was the seat of the county government from 1930 to 1933. In July 1939, the township system was implemented in Datang township. In April 1984, it was changed to Datangbu township. It was changed into Datangbu town in December 1988. In May 2001, Pingshi township was merged into Datangbu town.

Infrastructure
Datangbu town has formed a highway transportation network with datangbuwei and pingshiwei as the center. Every village is connected with highways, and the trunk highways go directly to Ganzhou, Nanchang, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The 105 national highway runs through the whole area, and the Xin'an highway has been maintained and improved. There is a railway freight station in the territory. Taojiang River, a tributary of Ganjiang River, passes through its western edge. It has convenient land and water transportation. Datangbu town has developed post and telecommunication business, and has telephone connections in every village. China Mobile and China Unicom have set up transmission network in Datangbu Town, with extremely convenient communication, excellent power facilities, a 110kV substation, and surplus domestic lighting and industrial electricity. Datangbu town is rich in groundwater and surface water resources, and the water quality is good, which can fully meet the needs of industrial and domestic water in the town.
The industry of Datangbu town has developed rapidly, mainly through attracting investment and other forms. The existing lime factory, machine-made red brick factory, grain and oil comprehensive processing factory, Tianqi food factory and Tianyuan food factory. Among them, Tianqi food factory and Tianyuan food factory make use of local rich agricultural products for deep processing, and refine into dozens of products such as chili sauce and radish crisp, which are sold all over the country.
Datangbu town is the political, economic and cultural center in the territory. Two concrete streets, north-south and east-west, intersect to form a "well" shape. The total area of the polder is about 40000 square meters, which is the largest polder in the middle of the county. There are three central trading kiosks in the polder. There is a cinema in xutou, which can accommodate more than 1000 people. There are also hundreds of specialized businesses such as comprehensive stores, restaurants, clothing, cultural stations, leisure and entertainment rooms. It has always been regarded as a symbol of auspiciousness by overseas Chinese, and given the reputation of "melon seed king". Radish is a large local product of Datangbu town with a long cultivation history. The radish is white, sweet and crisp, tender as a fruit, not easy to be hollow, eaten raw and cooked, and pickled. Dried radish (also known as footboard radish) processed by traditional technology has complete color, fragrance and taste, and is sold well in the market inside and outside the province. Hot pepper is thick and spicy, with a daily turnover of nearly 10000 tons. It is sold all over the country.
