Tang Wang Cheng. In the southeast of Beihuang Shanqian village on Beihuang City Island, there is an ancient city site, which was built by the king of Tang Dynasty for the purpose of conquering the East, so it is called Tangwang city. The ancient city is built by mountains, 72 meters wide in the south, 44 meters wide in the north and 126 meters long. At present, only a small amount of residual urban foundation and part of rammed earth can be seen. The exposed part is 1.1 meters high and is alternately overlapped by red soil and gray mottled soil. According to textual research, the city was built for the army of the Tang Dynasty to store grain and equipment, and also the location of Wuhu garrison. In 1982, it was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit.
