Township Development
Fengdi village, 15 kilometers away from the local government, was once called "poor land" by the villagers. It is located in the hinterland of Meihua Mountain, a world-class nature reserve, so it is known as "the first village at the source of Jiulong". There are 89 households and 367 people in the village. There are more than 300 mu of cultivated land, 11000 mu of mountain forest, and more than 8000 mu of bamboo forest. The villagers rely on, raise and eat the mountain, and put the development of bamboo production in the first place. The village not only has good natural scenery, but also greatly improves the people's living standards. The per capita income of the villagers reaches more than 5000 yuan.
Due to the inconvenience of transportation and other factors, the cost of cutting and selling bamboo is high. Each bamboo can only be sold for 6-8 yuan, and the output value per mu is less than 200 yuan. In the winter of 2005, the construction of a 3.5km long road leading to Fengdi was started. Village cadres and villagers worked together to complete the road in early 2007. At the same time, the village cadres invited technical personnel to plan and measure the route of Zhushan Road, and guaranteed loans for more than 10 villagers to the credit cooperatives, so as to solve the big technical and financial problems. With access roads, bamboo can be loaded directly from the mountain. With the comprehensive utilization of bamboo poles and branches, a thick bamboo can sell for 16 yuan. In this way, the village's more than 8000 mu of bamboo mountain can increase its income by more than 200000 yuan per year.
"In Zhejiang and other places, the annual income of Phyllostachys pubescens per mu is as high as 6878 yuan. The income of Zhejiang and other places is 34 times that of Fengdi village. Villagers, if you manage the bamboo mountain well, the villagers can't eat it!" On the basis of improving the traffic conditions, the village two committees invited experts from the county forestry bureau to teach the methods and skills of bamboo management and protection, took villagers to Zhejiang and Yong'an to visit and study, and distributed technical data of bamboo cultivation to each household; formed a team of "farmers' home", gave full play to the functions of "six members" and the role of village leaders and representatives, and each village cadre planted a mu of bamboo for demonstration In order to solve the problems of extensive bamboo mountain management, low bamboo production per mu and output value, we should guide the masses to expand the bamboo industry and change "relying on the mountain to eat the mountain" into "raising the mountain to eat the mountain". The village has completed the first phase planning of bamboo mountain reclamation of more than 800 mu, newly opened bamboo forest road of more than 10 km, Phyllostachys pubescens area increased by more than 600 mu to more than 9000 mu, the initial cultivated Phyllostachys pubescens Mu output value increased to more than 500 yuan, Phyllostachys pubescens income of the whole village alone reached more than 1.5 million yuan, only this per capita income of more than 4000 yuan. Now, under the leadership of the two committees of the village, the poor land of Fengdi has become rich
