Hanjiang town
Located in the north of Shishi City, Fujian Province, Hanjiang town has 19 administrative villages and 50000 ton port (national first-class port), and two world cultural heritages (Liusheng tower in Song Dynasty and linluandou in Tang Dynasty).
In the song and Yuan Dynasties, Hanjiang town was the gateway of "bright city" and "the largest port in the East" - CiDong (Quanzhou), and the starting point of the maritime Silk Road. In 2002, the GDP was 1.56 billion yuan, the total industrial output value was 2.8 billion yuan, the fiscal revenue was 102 million yuan, and the per capita income of urban residents and farmers was 9980 yuan and 6910 yuan respectively.
On May 24, 2018, Hanjiang town was selected as one of the top 50 small towns with the most beautiful characteristics. On January 9, 2019, with lantern riddles, he was selected into the list of "hometown of Chinese folk culture and art" from 2018 to 2020.

Historical evolution
In the early Song Dynasty, Hanjiang belonged to jiangyinli of Anren Township, and Shihu belonged to yongningli of Anren township. In the Yuan Dynasty, there were 23 capitals in Hanjiang and 22 capitals in Shihu.
In 1696, the 35th year of Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty, Hanjiang was listed as the 23rd capital of tong4tu19 Township, and Shihu as the 22nd capital of tong1tu1 township. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, there was an office of general justice in the river.
In 1934, the town was established in the Republic of China. It has 18 guarantees: 9 guarantees for the river, 3 guarantees for Shihu, 1 guarantee for the mansion, 1 guarantee for Jinli, 3 guarantees for Liandai, and 1 guarantee for Donglong and Shibi. In the 33rd year of the Republic of China, Hanjiang was renamed Heping Town.
In the 35-38 years of the Republic of China, it was changed into Fuxing Township, which has jurisdiction over Lianhu, yangcuo, Qingshan, Xiangzhi, Jinlin, Wubao, Gulian, Jinxi, Liandai, Jinjiang, Longku, Shihu and Dongpo.
In June 1950, Hanjiang Township belonged to the Ninth District of Jinjiang County, and the district office was located in Yongning. In June 1952, Cangjiang Township belonged to the fourteenth District, and the district office set up Chihu. In March 1958, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. In September, the people's commune was established in Yixiang, and the people's commune of Xiangzhi red banner was established in Ganjiang.
In 1961, Hanjiang people's commune was founded by Xiangzhi. Hanjiang people's commune is adjacent to Quanzhouwan in the East and North, Yongning people's commune in the south, Shishi people's commune in the southwest and Xiangzhi people's commune in the southeast. It has jurisdiction over 25 natural villages, 14 production teams and 1 farm. The commune is located in the river. In 1984, the people's commune of Ganjiang was changed into Ganjiang township. In August 1985, Hanjiang township was changed into Hanjiang town.
After the establishment of Shishi City, Ganjiang town belongs to Shishi City. The people's Government of Hanjiang town is located in Hanjiang, which has jurisdiction over 19 administrative villages and 2 farms including Hanjiang, Jinli, Daxia, Shinong, Shiyu, Liandong, Lianzhong, Lianxi, Qinglian, hongku, Jinting, Shuitou, Liantang, xiqian, cuozai, Shibi, Jinjiang, Donglong and Gushan, with a total of 25 natural villages.

The water depth of the harbor basin is 15 meters, the water depth of the main channel is 14 meters, there is no siltation all the year round, and the wind shelter conditions are good. It is a rare natural port. In the 4000 meter coastline of the harbor area, 13 deep-water berths with a capacity of more than 10000 tons can be built, which has a good development prospect.
10000 DWT and 35000 DWT berths have been built and put into use. 50000 DWT berths will be built and put into use before August 2005. Market construction
During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, the commercial economy of Hanjiang town was prosperous. Businessmen from Quanzhou and Hui'an set up suburban banks, commercial banks and warehouses here. There are five grain market, cattle market, salt market, fish street, dyeing workshop, oil workshop, mill, hostel and restaurant in the market.
The main markets, such as Wugu market, niuxu market, yuxu market and Yanshi market, are simple, open-air or occupied streets. Until the period of the Republic of China, this situation did not change.
In the 1950s, there was a vegetable market in the town. In the 1980s, the five grain market of Hanjiang recovered and developed, forming a fair of a certain scale. In 1992, the new market of Hanjiang was built in the former site of the original town government. It is a comprehensive trading place for agricultural and sideline products and daily industrial products. It was completed and put into use in August 1994, with a total construction area of more than 1000 square meters.
Traffic situation
(1) Street Road
There are one old street and one new street in the town.
The old street was built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty. It starts from jicuo in the north and ends at dongtoushan in the north. It is 370 meters long and 3-5 meters wide, with 105 shops. The whole street is divided into three sections: Dingjie street, Zhongjie street and Sansheng Street (also known as Sansheng Street). Originally, it was paved with gravel, but later it was paved with stones and bricks. The small shops on both sides are flat houses, and two-story buildings were built in the period of the Republic of China. The main roads are old streets, YanXu street, maiyu street, xiaojiezi street and shuigouxia street.
The new street extends eastward from dongtoushan highway to jin'antan, and turns south to Liandai village. From dongtoushan to jin'antan, it is 270 meters long and 8 meters wide, with stone brick pavement. After 1993, the cement pavement from jin'antan to Zhenxia was widened, 800 meters long and 20 meters wide. In 1996, another new east-west street was built, starting from the flood dike in the West and reaching Wuhua Industrial Zone in the East, with a total length of 3000 meters and a width of 26 meters.
Lane after the formation of the old market in Qing Dynasty, lanes were built one after another. During the period of the Republic of China, there were 15 lanes, including Caicuo lane, wangcuo lane, oucuo lane, Dongjian lane, Jingzi lane, diandangcheng lane, wuluodacuo lane, kanzijiao lane, Huixiang lane, Caopu lane, tamping lane, dadie lane, Dali lane, Haixiang lane and nanxiaguan lane. It still exists today.
The place name of Jinggu does not exist now and is still used by the people. The original XuXi, fairyland, Qianlong, Houlong four realms, later evolved into jicuo, Houlong, Qianlong.
