Qiushan Town, subordinate to Lixian County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Lixian County. It is connected with Luoba town in Lixian County in the East, Taoping town and Shangping Township in the south, Mawu Township in Min County in the north, 48 kilometers away from Lixian County, with a total area of 139.74 square kilometers.
In August 1949, Qiushan township was established; in 2018, Qiushan township was changed from township to town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the town was 12214. As of June 2020, Qiushan town has 18 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Xiaping village.
The main food crops in Qiushan town are winter wheat; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and poultry. In 2018, Qiushan town has 5 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In August 1949, Qiushan township was established.
In August 1956, Qiushan township was abolished and riverside township was established.
On September 25, 1958, the township was withdrawn and the commune was established.
In March 1983, it was restored to Qiushan township.
In 2018, Qiushan township was changed from township to town.
