It is adjacent to Shahu town of Luchuan County in the East, Shatian town in the South and Zhangmu town across the river in the West. It is 20 kilometers away from Yulin City in the north and 23 kilometers away from Bobai County in the south.

The administrative area is 85 square kilometers. The town has 10 administrative villages and 206 villager groups with a total population of 30000. The town has a superior geographical location, only 17 kilometers away from Yulin city. Yugong second-class highway and Yubo highway pass through the city from north to south, so the traffic is very convenient. After the completion of Yulin Tieshangang expressway, Shihe town will have a faster access to the sea. Shihe town has perfect infrastructure and abundant land and human resources.

There are 7 township enterprises, of which the only primate experimental animal domestication and breeding center in Guangxi is located in our town. Economic crops mainly include sisal, litchi, longan, tea tree, sugar cane, black skin wax gourd, Zhitian pepper, peanut, Muru, etc.; Shihe town is a well-known tea production place, famous products include Heshan health tea, hand-made fine green tea, hand-made Maojian tea.
