In accordance with the strategy of "strengthening the town by industry and enriching the people by tea industry", the town has paid close attention to the economic work measures. In 2009, the development pattern of cement, minerals, hydropower, machinery manufacturing and Commerce coexisted. Jiandou town is one of the main tea producing areas of Tieguanyin in Anxi County. Tea production has a long history, tea quality is excellent, high flavor alcohol, unique. After several years of efforts, the development pattern of tea industry has initially formed, which is characterized by large-scale base construction, regular technical training, institutionalized degradation of pesticide residues and standardized market management. The ecological tea garden is 6000 mu, the pollution-free tea base is 5000 mu, and the annual output of tea is more than 2000 tons.

Among them, there are 7 cement enterprises, with an annual total output of about 1.2 million tons, accounting for nearly half of the total output of Anxi cement; there are 6 mineral processing enterprises, with an output value exceeding 100 million yuan, which is one of the important industrial towns in Anxi County. Zhang Quan Xiao railway and 307 provincial road are the main passageways between Sanming and Longyan to Xiamen and Quanzhou. Main streets

（1） Jiandou Street

It is located in Jiandou village and its surrounding area. In ancient times, Taozhou, Daxin and kangsui in Anxi and Sanling, Yidu and Xianzhi in Yongchun were rich in Phyllostachys pubescens and Cunninghamia lanceolata. Later, it became a market and was renamed Jiankou, which was called Jiandou in the Republic of China. Because it is close to the Pantian iron mine, some people smelted silver and iron here in the Southern Tang Dynasty. According to records, in 1872, a furnace was set up near Pantian to make iron, probably in the sword fight.

In 1942, the overseas Chinese ironmaking farm tool factory of Fujian Province initiated by Fujian agriculture and forestry company started from Pantian to Jiandou ironmaking. In 1949, farmer Wu Genggu and other 14 people raised funds to set up a small iron making farm tool factory, build a small trumpet furnace, make pig iron, stir fry wool iron and cast pots; after the founding of new China, it became a local state-owned Jiandou iron factory in 1953.

In 1958, 32 blast furnaces were built. In September of the same year, 8316 people from Anxi and Nan'an were transferred to the steel base. In 1963, the first cement plant in Anxi was established. In 1966, Jiandou coal mine was set up in Daye County, which was later moved to Houjing. In 1970, Anxi chemical fertilizer plant was built in Jiandou to produce ammonium bicarbonate and calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer. In 1971, Anxi County machinery repair plant and Jiandou power plant were established.

In the 1970s, it became the base of "five small industries" (small coal mine, small iron plant, small chemical fertilizer plant, water cement plant and small hydropower station) in Anxi County, and also the major industrial area in Anxi. Later, with the establishment of grass-roots political power, some enterprises and institutions such as banks, supply and marketing cooperatives, grain stations, tea stations, tax offices, industrial and commercial offices, and health centers were set up one after another. In 2004, there were three streets in Jiandou: rongshujiao street, fuchuantou street and supply and marketing shezhong street.

（2） Youyi Street

Located between Yuexing village and Fudou village, it is also called qiaotingwei. The polder city takes five days as a Polder, which is busy in the morning and cold in the afternoon. In ancient times, it was mainly smelted, but now it is famous for producing Tieguanyin.

Human history

Jiandou town was founded in 1965. In 1984, the commune was withdrawn to build the town. There are Wu, Wang, Liao, Zheng, Lin, Weng, Xie, Wei, Qiu, Huang, Su, Xu, Chen, Zhang, LAN and many other surnames in the territory, and many of them are famous. There are 2 middle schools, 14 primary schools and 2 kindergartens in Jiandou Town, with 8235 students. The enrollment rate of school-age children is 100%. There is a new health center, a theater and a culture room. The masses have rich and colorful cultural life, such as literary creation, photography, lantern riddles, lion dance, piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, drama and singing. The town's "wedding party" has a long history. It must be seen in the streets and alleys every time there are rural regulations, grand temple fairs and other celebrations. The town is applying for the national intangible cultural heritage.

Jiandou town has always been the transportation hub of neianxi, with 307 provincial road, 340 County Road and Zhangquan railway passing through the territory. The roads extend in all directions, reaching Quanzhou and Xiamen in the East, Zhangping in the west, and Datian and Zhangping in the north through hengkou township of Yongchun. It is one of the important passageways connecting the coastal and inland areas. All the 60 km village level roads have hardened cement pavement, and the traffic network in the territory is good It's very convenient. 21 hydropower stations with an installed capacity of 20000 kilowatts have been built in the town; the rural power grid transformation has been completed, and a 110 kV substation is planned to be built.
