Boiling water town, the old name of the town, is located in Longmen mountain area, northwest of Anzhou District, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, about 50 kilometers away from the county seat. Its name derives from the fact that there is a spring in the territory, the first boiling spring in Southwest China. (its spring water is like boiling water all the year round) boiling water was the seat of Xichong County in ancient times, and it has a history of more than 2000 years. In December 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's government agreed to abolish boiling water town in Mianyang City and put its administrative region under the jurisdiction of JuShui town.

Baishui Lake
