Xinmintun town
Xinmintun Town, subordinate to Liaozhong District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is managed by Tiexi New District. It is located in the east of Liaozhong district and the middle of xinshenxi industrial corridor, connecting Yuhong District in the East, Changtan town in the south, Sifangtai town in the West and yangshigang town in the north, with an administrative area of 59.83 square kilometers.
In 1949, it was the location of Laoliu District in Liaozhong County; in 1985, Xinmintun township was transformed into a town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Xinmin Town was 19437. As of June 2020, Xinmintun town has jurisdiction over two communities and five administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in beisantaizi village.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Xinmintun town was 2.8 million yuan, and the tax paid by enterprises to the state was 13 million yuan, an increase of 8.3% over the previous year; the tax paid to local governments was 13 million yuan, an increase of 11.8% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 87 industrial enterprises in Xinmintun Town, including 15 Enterprises above Designated Size and 101 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In 1949, it was the location of Laoliu District in Liaozhong County.
In 1964, a senior cooperative was established.
In 1970, Xinmintun commune was established.
In 1983, Xinmintun commune was transformed into a township.
In 1985, Xinmintun township was transformed into a town.
In 2007, it was managed by Tiexi New District.
