Wanquan Township
Wanquan township is located in the southwest of the county. The township government is located in Wanquan village, 57.3km away from the county. Nankai line of county road crosses the territory. In 2005, the township had 9 village committees and 66 villager groups.
In 2017, the administrative area was 19625 hectares, with a permanent population of 6375.
General situation of villages and towns
Wanquan township is located in the southwest of Jiangle County, adjacent to Huangtan town in the East, Gaiyang town of Mingxi County in the south, Long'an township of Taining County in the West and Kaishan township of Taining County in the north, 62 kilometers away from the county. It has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages. Jinxi river runs through the whole territory. It has jurisdiction over nine village committees, namely Wanquan, Liangdi, Chang'an, Yangyuan, Longyuan, Shanghua, Gaoping, Zhuzhou and Xingxi.
Historical evolution
In the Ming Dynasty, there were Yangyuan capital and Zhuzhou capital. The Qing Dynasty was ruled by the Ming Dynasty. In 1934, Wanquan, Zhuzhou, Liangdi, meishikeng and Yangyuan were set up, and they were subordinate to Jiangxi Lianbao. In the 28th year of the Republic of China, wengcuobao was added, and six of them belonged to Minquan township. In May of the 33rd year of the Republic of China, Xixi Bao was added. In March 1950, Wanquan and Yangyuan townships were set up, belonging to the fourth district.
In November 1951, Meishi and Xingxi townships were added, still belonging to the fourth district. In October 1955, Duhua township was added, with 5 townships in the territory, subordinate to Huangtan district. In 1958, Wanquan and Yangyuan brigades were set up, belonging to Redtory commune. In September 1959, Xingxi brigade was set up. There were three brigades in the territory, belonging to Huangtan commune. In October 1961, Wanquan commune was set up with 10 brigades under its jurisdiction. In September 1984, Wanquan township was restructured. In 1990, it had jurisdiction over 9 villagers' committees and 55 villagers' groups.
natural resources
The township has 15000 mu of arable land, including 14700 mu of paddy field; 166000 mu of forest land, including 163000 mu of woodland, with 81% forest coverage, 838000 cubic meters of forest stock and 945000 bamboos. The volume of timber forest in Yangyuan, Chang'an, Longyuan, Shanghua and Gaoping villages is more than 100000 cubic meters, and the bamboo forest area in Longyuan village is 7000 mu. The main mineral resources are quartzite and granite.
The main peak of Lianhua Mountain is 1240 meters above sea level, the highest point in the township. Wanquan village, 208 meters above sea level, is the lowest point in the township. There are many cultural landscapes in the township. In the Neolithic age, there are already human beings living, and there are three existing sites. Zhengjue temple, founded in 620, is located in Taiping mountain of Chang'an village. The hometown of Liang Yu, a famous Neo Confucianist in Qing Dynasty, is here.
Climate and environment
The mountains of Wanquan township are winding and undulating. Lianhua Mountain, 1240 meters above sea level, is the highest point in the township. Anshan, huangnaikeng and other mountains are more than 1000 meters above sea level. Wanquan village, 208 meters above sea level, is the lowest point in the township. Jinxi receives tributaries such as Shanghua River, Changxi River, Zhuzhou River and Xingxi river. It flows from west to east across the north, with a flow length of about 6 km. The average annual temperature of the township is 18.3 ℃, the frost free period is 296.7 days, and the average annual precipitation is 1688 mm.
The township is rich in natural resources. The township has 241700 mu of forest land, including 210300 mu of forest land, 77.3% of forest coverage, 781000 cubic meters of timber stock and 450200 bamboo. The volume of timber forest in Yangyuan, Chang'an, Longyuan, Shanghua, Gaoping and other villages is more than 100000 cubic meters. Longyuan village has more than 3000 mu of bamboo forest. The hydropower resources of Jinxi and its tributaries can be exploited.
economic development
In 2004, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the township was 72.98 million yuan, including 45.43 million yuan of industrial output value and 27.55 million yuan of agricultural output value. The planting area of grain is 157.3 million mu, the annual output is 6000 tons, the output value is 4.58 million yuan, the output value is 8548 tons, and the edible fungi are 2 million bags, including 180 mu of big ball mushroom, 100000 bags of Pleurotus eryngii and 6000 square meters of Brazil mushroom.
Wanquan township has a long history of humanities. In the Neolithic age, human beings have been living, and there are three existing sites. Located in Taiping mountain of Chang'an village, Zhengjue temple was founded in 620, the third year of Wude in Tang Dynasty. The hometown of Liang Wen, a famous Neo Confucianist in Qing Dynasty, is here. In May of the seventh year of Xianfeng in the Qing Dynasty (1857), the shidakai Department of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom marched into Wanquan and other villages.
All the people have a glorious revolutionary tradition. In the 20-30 years of the Republic of China, the Red Army of Chinese workers and peasants liberated most areas in the territory and established Soviet regimes in Yangyuan, Shanghua, Gaoping, Longyuan and other villages.
Agriculture
In 1991, the total agricultural output value of the township was 18.21 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 976 yuan. Grain crops and cash crops were planted in 21259 Mu and 5640 mu, respectively. After 1994, the pace of the adjustment of the planting structure of the agricultural industry has accelerated, and most of the cultivated land has been adjusted to grow cash crops. Through the introduction of high-quality varieties, the establishment of planting and breeding demonstration base, the cultivation of grain, fruit, fungus, vegetables, bamboo shoots, bamboo, forest and other leading industries, the sustainable development of agricultural economy. From 2000 to 2003, the varieties and yield of edible fungi planted in the township were the highest in the county. The main varieties of edible fungi are big ball cover, Dictyophora, big cup mushroom, snow mushroom, ferula mushroom, Agrocybe aegerita, Pleurotus nebrodensis, Ganoderma lucidum, Brazil mushroom, etc. In 2005, the total agricultural output value of the township was 32.85 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 4308 yuan. 14710 mu of grain crops and 6578 mu of economic crops were planted respectively, 31% less and 17% more than 1991. The total output of grain is 5810 tons, 395 kg per mu; the output of tobacco is 3118 mu, 375 tons; the output of orchard is 2143 mu, 920 tons, including 1304 mu of oranges, 559 tons; the output of fresh edible fungi is 50 tons, dry edible fungi is 557 tons; the output of vegetables and fruits is 3040 mu, 3265 tons; the output of fresh water products of fish, shrimp, crab and shellfish is 319 tons; there are 370 cattle, 30 sheep, 2100 pigs and poultry There are 28000 of them.
Township Enterprises
In 1991, there were 109 enterprises with 631 employees and a total output value of 20.64 million yuan. In 1993, Pushang Industrial Park was built, and in the eight years to 2001, wood-based panel factory, comprehensive wood products factory, slide board factory, fragrant core factory, canned food factory, Yongcheng wood products factory, etc. were successively introduced into the central area. In 2002, two "enclave" enterprises, Fulian Ecological Food Co., Ltd. and Hengxin Wood Industry Co., Ltd., were established in Jiangle Chengguan. In June 2003, Fulian Ecological Food Co., Ltd. was reorganized and renamed as Sanming Jianle Ecological Food Co., Ltd. In the same year, the company was identified as a municipal agricultural leading enterprise. In 2005, there were 330 enterprises with 992 employees in the township, with a total output value of 115 million yuan and profits and taxes of 6.12 million yuan. Among them, the enterprises with an output value of 5-10 million yuan are Wanshun sports equipment factory, and two enterprises with an output value of more than 10 million yuan are Hengxin Wood Industry Co., Ltd. and Jianle Ecological Food Co., Ltd. Wood based panels, small furniture, canned water bamboo shoots, skateboards, fragrant cores, fresh mushrooms and other products are sold to the domestic market, some of which are exported to Europe, America and Japan. There are 12 small hydropower stations in the township, with a total installed capacity of 6360 kW and an annual generating capacity of 22.26 million kwh.

education
In 1991, there were 6 junior middle school classes with 280 students, 9 primary schools with 829 students, 1 kindergarten with 8 classes with 264 children, and 115 teaching staff. In 1996, Wanquan middle school was established, with 7 junior middle school classes and 330 students. In 1997, the teaching building of Wanquan middle school was newly built, with a construction area of 1040 square meters. Primary compulsory education in the township has passed the provincial "two bases" (basically popularizing nine-year compulsory education and basically eliminating illiteracy among young and middle-aged people). Due to the decrease of students, Liangdi and Gaoping primary schools were closed in 1999. Students are transferred to Central Primary School. In the same year, Wanquan middle school built a new canteen complex with a construction area of 1068 square meters. In 2000, Xiangwen technical school won the "China National Literacy Award". In September 2003, Wanquan school district was renamed as Wanquan central school. In 2004, a special student of Wanquan middle school was admitted to Sanming No.9 middle school. In the same year, Changan, Longyuan, and other small villages were closed. In 2005, there were 1 junior middle school with 288 students and 21 teaching staff; 5 primary schools with 344 students and 41 teaching staff; 1 kindergarten with 7 classes, 132 children and 8 teaching staff.
Culture
In 1991, the township cultural station had a staff member. In 1999, the elderly activity centers in Zhuzhou, Yangyuan and Wanquan villages were established. In 2000, the cultural center building was built with a construction area of 400 square meters. There are library, reading room, entertainment room, etc. Traditional cultural and sports activities include folk music, folk dance and martial arts. Basketball, table tennis, badminton and other sports competitions are carried out all year round. In 2003, a new sports path for the whole people was built, in which there were 9 jogging machines and other sports fitness equipment. In 2005, the township cultural station had two staff members.
In 1991, the Township radio station had three staff members. From 1993 to 1997, the administrative villages of Wanquan, Zhuzhou, Yangyuan, Longyuan and Shanghua successively opened CCTV and FM broadcasting. In 1996, CCTV was extended to natural villages, with eight TV programs. In 1998, closed circuit television was available to every village. In 2004, Wanquan, Zhuzhou, Xingxi and other villages realized the county and township closed-circuit television network, which can watch 37 TV programs.
