Nanxia township is located in the southeast of Shaxian District, Fujian Province, adjacent to Youxi County in the East, Daluo in the south, Qiujiang in the West and Langkou in the north. It is 25 km away from the county seat and has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages and 72 villager groups, including Longquan, Yangling, Xiayang, jiangpo, Dongzhou, nankengzi, songshukeng, Longsong, Xiacun, Chaping and Xiyuan. Relying on the county seed company, the township adopts the mode of "company + farmer + base" to develop the seed industry, changing the situation of only planting two-line rice in a single combination, and extending to eight new combinations. The township implements seed production area of 2500 mu, yield of 500000 kg, and output value of 5 million yuan. The investment is 1.2 million yuan to build a demonstration base of Kumquat in the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, planting 500 mu of Kumquat.

Pay close attention to the production of tobacco leaves, the annual planting area of flue-cured tobacco is 312 mu, and the output value is 428000 yuan. The forestry area is 103276 mu, 20 bamboo forest demonstration households, 13000 mu of bamboo forest reclamation area, 500 mu of fertilization area, and 5.4 km of bamboo forest mountain road.

On the basis of the original 6000 mu fruit improvement, new fruit varieties such as Gongben No.3, No.2 tezaomi, Xixuan No.2 and Guoqing peach were introduced, and more than 800 Mu orchard was newly developed, initially forming a multi variety and high-quality fruit planting pattern.
