DIGE Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Yicheng District, Zaozhuang City, Shandong Province, is located in the southeast of Yicheng District, adjacent to Lanling town and Hantang township of Cangshan County in the East, Xinglou township of Pizhou City, Jiangsu Province in the southeast, pizhuang town of Taierzhuang District in the south, Lancheng Township of Taierzhuang District in the southwest, Wulin street in the West and Eshan town in the north, with a total administrative area of 74.35 square kilometers.
In the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, it belonged to the state of Wei and was established as Lanling County; in 1734, Yizhou was changed into Yizhou Prefecture and established as Lanshan County; in April 1984, it was established as DIGE town. In January 2001, ganlugou township was incorporated. By the end of 2018, the population of the registered residence in the town was 50239. As of June 2020, the town has 44 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of DIGE town was 24.06 million yuan, an increase of 20% over the previous year. In 2018, there were 343 industrial enterprises in DIGE Town, including 14 large-scale enterprises and 81 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Xia, Shang and Zhou dynasties, Lanling county was established as the state of Wei.
In 1734, Yizhou was changed into Yizhou Prefecture and Lanshan county was established.
During the reign of Qianlong and Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty, Baojia was reorganized and changed into Bao, while Ganqi was changed into DIGE Bao.
In 1909, Lanshan county was divided into 15 rural areas, and digebao belonged to Lanling rural area.
In 1913, Yizhou Prefecture was abolished, and Lanshan county was renamed Linyi County.
In the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), digebao was changed to DIGE Township, belonging to the eighth District of Lanling in Linyi County.
In July 1953, Lanling county was abolished and restored to Yi County, which was divided into 22 districts and then changed into the 12th district.
In September 1955, the 12th district was changed into the disco district.
In August 1956, the district was withdrawn to Township, and in December of the same year, the DIGE district was restored.
In March 1958, DIGE district was changed into a township; in September of the same year, the township was removed to establish a commune, and DIGE was incorporated into Eshan commune.
In 1960, Yi county was abolished and Zaozhuang City was rebuilt.
In April 1984, jiandige town was built.
In January 2001, ganlugou township was incorporated.
