Shiquan town

Shiquan Town, belonging to Bei'an City, Heihe City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Bei'an. It borders on Yang's hometown and Beizhen. The south is separated from the Tong River and Helen's Aimin township. The west is adjacent to Baiquan county and kedon County, and north connects with Zhao Guang town. In 2018, the area was 403.69 square meters and the registered residence population was 39619.

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to hailun prefecture (county), the vice capital of Tongken. In 1946, the second district was set up. In 1963, it was merged into Shihua and Shiquan communes. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1985, the township was transformed into a town. In 2001, Shihua township was merged into Shiquan town. As of October 2019, Shiquan town has 14 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were three industrial enterprises in Shiquan town.

Historical evolution

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to hailun prefecture (county), the vice capital of Tongken.

In 1932, it was put under the jurisdiction of Baiquan County.

In 1945, it was transferred to Tongbei county.

In 1946, the second district was set up.

In 1956, Tongbei county was merged into Bei'an county. Shiquan 2 was divided into three townships: Shiquan, Shihua and Changfa.

In 1963, it was merged into Shihua and Shiquan communes.

In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.

In 1985, the township was transformed into a town.

In 2001, Shihua township was merged into Shiquan town.
