Shuibao town
Shuibao Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Laiyuan County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, is located in the west of Laiyuan County, bordering Shifo Township in the East, zoumayi town in the south, xiabeiquan village in Lingqiu County, Shanxi Province in the west, and Juya mountain in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 30 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 35 kilometers, with a total area of 153 square kilometers. In late 2018, the total registered residence of Shui Bao town was 7890.
In 1953, jianshuibao township was established. In 1984, it was restored to Longjiazhuang township. In 1993, jianshuibao town was established. As of June 2020, Shuibao town has jurisdiction over 11 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Ta'er village.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Shuibao town was 16000 yuan. In 2018, there were 20 industrial enterprises in Shuibao Town, including 2 large-scale enterprises and 12 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Xixiang.
In 1938, it belonged to the four districts of Laiyuan Anti Japanese democratic government.
In 1953, jianshuibao township was established.
In 1958, it belonged to Guanghui commune, which was located in Shuibao.
In 1962, Longjiazhuang commune was established in Longjiazhuang.
In 1971, the commune moved to Shuibao.
In 1984, it was restored to Longjiazhuang township.
In 1986, the resident moved to Ta'er village.
In 1993, Longjiazhuang Township and jingzihui Township were merged into jianshuibao town.
