Tangshu Township, the name of a town, is the name of only one township in China, Tangshu Township, Shucheng county.

Located in the northwest of Shucheng, 13 kilometers away from the county seat, it is a combination of three small townships (Tangshu, Xitang and Bali) in the former Zhangmuqiao district. It is adjacent to ganchahe town in the East, Zhangmuqiao and Wanfo Lake towns in the south, Jin'an District of Lu'an City across fengle River in the west, Bolin Township in the north, Liushu third road and Shuzhang road in the north. topographic features
The terrain is the transition zone between the Dabie Mountains and Chaohu plain, belonging to the shallow hilly area. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast, with alternate hills and polders. In the south, the four villages of Yunwu, Guihua and balihongyuan are shallow mountain areas. In the middle, Tangshu village is located in the middle of Tangshu Township, bordering ganchahe town by mountain village in the East, Liuyuan Village in the south, yaodun village in the west, Huanggang village and Qiugang village in the north. Gantang road runs through the East and West, and Shuzhang road and Tangba Road pass by. The traffic is relatively developed and convenient. The main canal of North Hangzhou passes through the hinterland of Tangshu village, with good water conservancy conditions. Tangshu village is located in the hills, three transformer area, power supply is normal. 35 villagers' representatives, 39 Communists, 4 Party groups and 4 serving village cadres led the cadres and masses of the whole village to get rid of poverty and become rich. In 2004, nearly 3 million yuan was invested in agricultural development, and more than 30000 flowers such as Cinnamomum camphora, Magnolia and Osmanthus fragrans were cultivated in 170 mu of landscape forest. The water surface of fish pond is 30 mu. Nearly 200 mu of large-scale agricultural ecological demonstration garden has been established, 246 mu of grafted chestnut has been developed, and more than 10 large fruit growers have emerged, with an average annual income of more than 400 yuan per farmer. Rice, rape, cotton and other crops are mainly planted in agriculture, and the rate of high-quality grain and oil is more than 90%. Yangtangshu township is located in the upper reaches of hangbei irrigation area. Its water source mainly comes from Longhekou reservoir. The main water system is hangbei trunk canal and hangpi branch canal. The other 10 branch canals and agricultural canals crisscross and flow through each village. Nantang and jiashantang are two small type II reservoirs. Xitang and Nantang have large water surface, good water quality and no pollution. There are more than 1400 large and small ponds and 6 pumping stations. The average temperature of the township is about 15 degrees, the frost free period is about 220 days, and the annual precipitation is 1200mm.

There are 30 village roads, 101.3 kilometers, including 59.2 kilometers of grade 4 roads, 42.1 kilometers of tractor roads, 49.5 kilometers of township roads, 58.1 kilometers of village roads, 11 kilometers of asphalt roads, 78.8 kilometers of sand and stone roads, and 11.5 kilometers of earth roads, which have basically formed a network. More than 95% of the roads are accessible to villages and groups, and more than 90% of the roads are open to traffic in sunny and rainy days.
highway
Provincial Road: Liushu Third Road, Lu'an to Sanhe via Shucheng. The section from sanguai village to Dawan is 2.5km long. It was originally the earth road of tongcun road in our township. In 1993, it was widened and transformed into gravel road. In 1995, it was poured with asphalt pavement. In 2001, the sanguai Village section of this road was cut off for 2km. In 2002, Baiyou road was paved again and an 80m long highway bridge was built in sanguai village. County Road: Shuzhang Road, from Shucheng to Zhangmuqiao, built in 1969, passes through Fengxi, Xitang, Qiugang, Tangshu, yaodun and Xin'an villages, with a total length of 15 km. Before 1986, it was a sand and gravel mine. In 1989, it raised 750000 yuan from the district. The insufficient part was held by the County Transportation Bureau and paved with asphalt pavement. In 2000, it was widened and reconstructed, and the asphalt pavement was poured again. Township Road: Tangba Road, from Tangshu to Bali street, was originally qugeng road. Deputies to the people's Congress of the county have repeatedly put forward proposals for reconstruction. After striving for and increasing investment, asphalt pavement was paved in 1998. In 2004, asphalt pavement was paved in 20K section from Bali middle school to Shuyue Road, with a total length of 14 km. Flood control road: from Xitang market town to fengle river embankment, 6 km in length, originally a gravel road, but now an asphalt road. Taihong cement road: located in Xin'an village, with a total length of 1200 meters. In 2004, Zhang Taihong, a capable migrant worker in Xin'an village, donated 250000 yuan to build a cement road, named "Taihong road".
Tong Group Highway
Since 1986, Tangshu township has been making use of the leisure time in spring and winter every year to fight in the village, take the form of "one case, one discussion" and put into operation, strengthen the village roads, widen the transformation, cut the bend and straight, and build 18 gravel roads, 51.8 km long, which are accessible to vehicles in sunny and rainy days. There are 430 roads in Tongzu, 117 km long, most of which are mud sand roads, distributed in all the villagers' groups in the township, which need to be transformed into roads.

There are 58 highway bridges in the township, including three provincial and county roads, mainly including sanguailindu bridge, sanguaixin highway bridge, Xin'an highway bridge, Bali highway bridge, Tangshu middle school bridge, Central Primary School Bridge, benxiaodian bridge, yaodun highway mechanized bridge, Hantang mechanized bridge, duntang mechanized bridge, Xitang flood control road highway bridge and Luxi bridge. A few bridges are badly damaged due to disrepair and need to be reconstructed.

In 2004, there were 9 buses, 26 trucks, 12 taxis, 98 agricultural vehicles, 1200 motorcycles and 205 rickshaws in the township. Road operation is run by the people, managed by the people and benefited by the people.

In 1998, the post office and the telecom office were separated, and a telecom service office was set up in the township, with 3 employees. The main businesses are: telephone, telex, mobile phone retail and charging, contracted to anyone. At the end of the 20th century, the telecommunication industry developed rapidly. After the small program-controlled telephone was opened in the township in 1995, the fixed telephone entered the homes of ordinary people. In 1997, a post office building was built in the township, and C5 terminal office was opened. In 2004, there were more than 4700 fixed line telephones in the township, and the rate of telephone access reached 30%. In recent years, the development of mobile phones is faster. In 2000, there were less than 50 mobile phones in the township, and in 2004, there were more than 2500 mobile phones in the township. In 2004, the company achieved an operating income of more than 5 million yuan and paid taxes of more than 1 million yuan. The township has more than 100 individual businesses, mainly engaged in building materials, decoration, catering and other social services.
Public utilities
Public utilities such as science, education, culture and health have developed rapidly. There is a central school, under which there are two junior middle schools (Bali and Tangshu) and 15 village primary schools. There are 298 teaching staff and nearly 6000 students. The enrollment rate of school-age children is 100%. Among them, Bali junior high school has good hardware facilities and beautiful environment, which has passed the evaluation and acceptance of provincial model junior high school. Xitang middle school has abundant teachers and high teaching quality. On average, more than 10 students are sent to Shuzhong every year. Tangshu Central Hospital and Xitang Branch hospital are set up in the township. There are more than 70 medical staff. The medical equipment is relatively complete, which is basically convenient for the masses to see a doctor.

Tangshu township is a typical agricultural township, the agricultural population accounts for more than 90% of the township population, mainly planting rice, rape, cotton and other crops, high-quality grain and oil rate of more than 90%. In recent years, with the increase of agricultural structure adjustment, three leading industries have been formed, including high-quality grain and oil, high-efficiency economic fruit forest and aquaculture.
