Mudan town
Peony Town, belonging to Qinzhou District, Tianshui, Gansu, is located in the Midwest of Qinzhou District, adjacent to the east of the town and the south of the town, and is connected to Huaci township. The west is linked to Qinling Mountains township. The north is adjacent to the town of Taichang and the town of Kou. In 2018, the area was 131.74 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 27995.

In 1983, it was changed to township. In 1985, it was assigned to Qincheng district. In September 2001, the township was removed to build a town. In 1961, the commune was divided into seven communes: Mudan commune, Qinling commune, yangjiasi commune, Caochuan commune, Daliushu commune, haichi commune and pucha commune.
In 1969, Caochuan commune was incorporated into Mudan commune.
In 1983, it was changed to township.
In 1985, it was assigned to Qincheng district.
In September 2001, the township was removed to build a town.
